Location

Centrally located in the historic capital of Rhodes, the Angela Downtown Hotel is an ideal base for sightseeing and exploring the island of Rhodes. A beach is located approximately 300 m away, offering a refreshing way to cool off from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are numerous shops, restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops in the tourist center. Other excursion destinations include the tourist resort of Faliraki, approx. 8 km away, and the beautiful village of Lindos, approx. 50 km away on the east coast of the island. For mobility during your holiday, there is a car rental service, as well as a motorcycle rental, a taxi rank, and a bus stop (approx. 50 m away). The airport (RHO) is approximately 17 km away.

Facilities

The 5-story city hotel has 64 comfortably furnished rooms where you can relax after an eventful day. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 3 p.m., check-out until 11 a.m.), a lobby with a bar, a lift, and air conditioning. Refreshing drinks in a social atmosphere can be enjoyed at the hotel bar. Wi-Fi is available to hotel guests free of charge. The outdoor area of the hotel includes a freshwater pool (approx. 75 m²). Destination information: Climate Resilience Tax

For stays from 1 January 2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of 1 January 2025.
