Location

The Blue Horizon Hotel is located directly on the sand/pebble beach of Ialysos on the northwest side of Rhodes. The center of the village is about 500 m away. The island's capital is about 8 km away and the airport about 7 km.

Facilities

The comfortable hotel consists of 222 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. Facilities include a 24-hour reception, lounge with satellite TV corner, Wi-Fi (free throughout the complex), elevator in the main building, minimarket and souvenir shop, a main restaurant with terrace, and 2 bars.
The spacious, well-kept garden area features a freshwater pool, a separate children's pool, sun terrace, and sunbathing lawn. Sunbeds and umbrellas are included by the pool, for a fee on the beach and lawn, pool/beach towels are available free of charge (changed every 3 days).

Double room

The double rooms have a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning (June-September), telephone, safe for rent, flat-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, and a furnished balcony (D).
Optional, at an extra charge, also available with sea view (DM) or for single use with sea view (DEM).
Under RHOA42, also available for single use with land view (DE).

Bungalow Garden View

With the same amenities as the double rooms, they also include bathrobes and slippers and are located in the bungalow buildings with a balcony or terrace (B3A for up to 3 persons/BA4 for up to 4 persons).

Hot drinks, water, soft drinks, juices, local draft beer, and house wine by the glass with lunch and dinner.
At the "Surfers Snack Bar," hot and cold snacks, cakes, and pastries from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, as well as ice cream from 10 am to 5:00 pm.
At the open bar, various local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10 am to 11 pm. These include, for example, coffee, tea, cappuccino, hot chocolate, milk, water, soft drinks, local draft beer, house wine, and selected cocktails.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be staggered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room from January 1, 2025.
