Location

The island of Albarella, 70 km south of Venice, is a natural oasis in the Po Delta Regional Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is located between Chioggia (distance 30 km) and Comacchio (distance 45 km), in the municipality of Rosolina in the province of Rovigo.

Connected to the mainland by a bridge, the island features 2 hotels, 300 accommodation units including villas and apartments, as well as 11 restaurants, and offers a gently sloping, approx. 2.5 km long sandy beach on the east coast. Small arms of water known as "fiords" wind through the southwest. The magnificent green areas and the opportunity to engage in countless sports (including golf, horse riding, and various water sports) fulfill a wide variety of holiday wishes. In addition, the island offers the Centro Sportivo, a sports harbor with 455 berths, emergency medical services, 2 medical stations, and 35 commercial establishments, ranging from a pharmacy to a supermarket. The entire island can be explored using the "Trenino" island train. Wi-Fi hotspots are located at central points on the island.

Accommodation

Terraced house 2 bedrooms

The terraced houses (R2H [S3], approx. 70 m²) are located in the fiord area or near the Capo Nord beach. The house offers space for four people over two floors and features a bedroom with a double bed and a further bedroom with two single beds or bunk beds (a sofa bed is available for a fifth person for an additional charge). A bright living area with a fully equipped kitchen including an oven, four-burner stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, and kitchen utensils. Furthermore, the accommodation offers two bathrooms with shower and WC, washing machine with clothes drying rack, air conditioning, heating, and LCD TV. A terrace with garden furniture, two sun loungers, outdoor grill, and access as well as balcony views of the "Fiordo-Diamante-Pool".

Terraced house maisonette 2 bedrooms

The terraced house maisonettes (T2Z [S3M], approx. 70 m²) are located near the Capo Nord beach and a dog beach. With identical facilities to the "2-bedroom terraced houses (R2H)", the accommodation offers space for four to five people. A bright living area with a view of the front garden is located on the ground floor, and a furnished terrace with a small, fenced garden and grill facilities invites you to spend time outdoors.

Villa 2 bedrooms

The villa (V22 [V3], approx. 80 m²) is located in the "Valle da Pesca" area in the immediate vicinity of the RistoBar "Rustico", which offers evening entertainment. The recently renovated villa is spread over two floors with an equipped outdoor veranda and a large, fenced garden, offering space for four people. On the ground floor, there is a bright living area with an equipped kitchenette (oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, four-burner stove, dishwasher, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, and kitchen utensils) as well as a double bedroom, separated from the living area by a small hallway and a door, and a bathroom with shower and WC. Upstairs, there is another bedroom with two single beds as well as a second bathroom with shower and WC. Further amenities include LCD TV, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, safe, air conditioning, grill facilities, and two small storage rooms.

Villa 3 bedrooms

The Comfort Villas (V32 [V4C], approx. 100 m²) are distributed across the entire island and, while having otherwise identical equipment to the "2-bedroom villas (V22)", feature a third, separate bedroom with two single beds or bunk beds. The spacious Comfort Villas offer space for six people (an extra bed for a seventh person is available for an additional charge). Outdoors, the villa offers a furnished terrace, a large, fenced garden, and a grill.

Pool Villa

The pool villas (2PV [V4P], approx. 100 m²) are terraced villas on two floors with an equipped patio, fenced garden, and a private, unheated pool. They offer space for six people (a sofa bed for a seventh person is available for an additional charge). They have identical facilities to the "3-bedroom villas (V32)", plus heating and possibly a spiral staircase leading to the upper floor. The outdoor area offers a private pool with regular maintenance and a grill area with barbecue facilities.
Note: Free Wi-Fi is available, and parking spaces for two cars are located in front of the villa. Pets are allowed upon request for an additional charge.

ALBARELLA GOLF CLUB
The golf course on Albarella is the only one to combine the style of a classic British course with the wonderful landscape of the Venetian lagoon. The sea-links course was designed by the English architect Harris and spans 18 holes. The breathtaking surroundings also make it a permanent destination for an international clientele with high standards. The Albarella Golf Club (Par 72) has the following tee-offs: For men, tournament tee-off white (SR 121 CR 72.0), standard tee-off yellow (SR 118 CR 70.5), and shortened tee-off green (SR 113 CR 68.2). For women, tournament tee-off blue (SR 125 CR 73.8), standard tee-off red (SR 121 CR 72.5), and extended tee-off orange (SR 116 CR 70.0).

MARINA DI ALBARELLA YACHT HARBOR
The Albarella yacht harbor is a proud recipient of the Blue Flag of Europe, an award few can claim. It offers 455 secure berths protected against all weather for boats from 6 to 25 meters (with electricity and water at the quay). Furthermore, the harbor features a shipyard, a workshop, storage facilities, a boat refueling station, a slipway, a fixed crane (5 T) and travel lift (50 T), a shipping agency, a coin-operated laundry, a deep-sea fishing club, and a restaurant with a bar.
Arrival by boat to the harbor: Keep to a water depth of at least 5 meters and orient yourself by the water tower with two rings. Steer for the entrance at the rocky reef, where two additional lighthouses (red and green) are located. Follow the entrance channel, which is bounded by two embankments and concrete piles; keep about 20-30 m to the left of them. Continue to the harbor entrance. The harbor can be reached on VHF channel 9.
