Location

The Hotel Istra, part of the renowned Liburnia hotel chain, is situated directly at the port of Opatija and offers a unique view of the Adriatic Sea. Shopping facilities, as well as bars and restaurants, are in the immediate vicinity. The city center of Opatija is about 2.5 km away and can also be reached on foot via the famous Lungomare promenade. Rijeka airport is about a 50-minute drive away.

Facilities

The fully air-conditioned hotel, which was named the best 3-star hotel in Croatia in 2022, has a total of 171 rooms spread over five floors with a total of three elevators. It offers guests a 24-hour reception, a lobby with a bar, and currency exchange facilities. The main restaurant and the à la carte bistro "Nostromo" (for a fee) provide for your culinary needs. You can round off an eventful day at the hotel bar. The hotel's own bathing plateau with access to the sea is within walking distance and invites you to sunbathe and relax. Sun loungers and parasols are available at the beach for a fee. Wi-Fi is available to guests free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Double room

The comfortably furnished double rooms (approx. 13-22 m²) feature two separate beds, each 90 cm x 200 cm, a bathroom with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV, telephone, and Wi-Fi, with a view of the street and no balcony (D/D1K).
Optionally bookable with sea view and no balcony (DM/D1M) or with sea view and balcony (2MB/AME).
Additionally bookable as a saver room based on specific allocations (SSZ/SS1).

Double room Superior

With similar features to the double room, these are somewhat more spacious and feature a double bed (200 cm x 200 cm) with a view of the street and no balcony (DSU/1DS/DAS).

Double room Superior sea view

With the same features as the Superior double rooms, these rooms have a sea view and a balcony (DMU/UKM).

Single room

The small, comfortable single room consists of a single bed, internet access, rental safe, flat-screen cable TV, and individually adjustable air conditioning (from June to September) as well as centrally controlled heating. The bathroom has a shower (approx. 8-10 m², E).
