Location

The Valamar Tamaris - Casa Palma hotel is located on the Lanterna peninsula, approximately 13 km from Porec. During the summer season, daily bus and boat connections to the town of Porec are available. The sea with its pebble, rocky, and sandy beach as well as a bathing plateau (sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee) is located approximately 100 m away.

Facilities

The resort features 313 rooms across four floors with two elevators in the main building, as well as 108 suites and villas in the annexes Casa Agava, Casa Palma, and Tamaris Villas. Facilities include a lobby with a reception, hotel restaurant, à-la-carte restaurant on the beach (June–September), Istrian Tavern (June–September), and pool and lobby bars each with a terrace. There is a freshwater swimming pool with water features and a water slide; sun loungers, umbrellas, towels, and showers are included here. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Family Junior Suite

The spacious 44m² rooms (FJ2) offer the highest level of comfort. They feature a bedroom with single beds and a separate living area with a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed. There are two bathrooms—one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. The terrace or balcony features a seating area with park views. Amenities include air conditioning/heating, a coffee and tea machine, minibar, mini-safe, LCD satellite TV, telephone, and hairdryer.

Extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet at the Mediterraneo Restaurant. The dinner buffet features regular themed nights such as Istrian, Croatian, Mediterranean, or Burger night. During lunch and dinner, drinks from the beverage station, as well as local wine, local beer, water, and non-alcoholic soft drinks, are included. Throughout the day, selected light snacks and drinks are also included at the "Istrian Tavern".
Maro Club: For children up to 12 years old, refreshments from the beverage machine at the bar as well as ice cream are included during the day.

Sports included

(Subject to availability): Fitness center, giant chess, walking and jogging paths, volleyball and beach volleyball, soccer, beach soccer, handball, basketball, bicycle rental.

Maro Club (3-7 years and 7-12 years): Children's room with various activities and entertainment programs. The Maro Club is open 4 hours per day, or 6 hours per day during peak season.
Teen (12+ years): Teenager open-air zone, video games, sports activities (beach volleyball, table tennis, badminton, etc.), and evening programs such as beach parties, disco, or movie night. Go-karts or paintball are offered for a fee and only with parents present.

Wellness
