Location

This modern hotel, part of the renowned Valamar hotel chain, is located in a quiet area right by the sea on the island of Rab. A pebble beach is within walking distance. The beautiful old town of Rab is approximately 5 km away. A supermarket is located in the vicinity of the hotel, and the nearest bars and restaurants can be reached after about 300 m. For emergency medical care, there is a hospital approximately 5 km away.

Facilities

The beach hotel features a total of 152 rooms. It is equipped with a 24-hour reception, a lobby with a bar, two elevators, free parking, and currency exchange facilities. Two outdoor pools, the Main Infinity Pool and the Relax Black Pool, both with seawater, provide a refreshing dip. Two air-conditioned restaurants take care of your culinary needs. You can round off the evening in a cozy atmosphere at one of the three bars. Wi-Fi is available to hotel guests free of charge. Sun umbrellas and sun loungers are available at the beach for a fee.

Double Room Sea Side

These approximately 23 m² rooms are located in the hotel area and offer a TV, bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, minibar, safe, and a balcony facing the sea side (DY2/DY3/D1Y).

Double Room Superior

The Superior rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or a double bed, minibar (fee applies), balcony, internet, safe (free of charge), and a flat-screen satellite TV, as well as centrally controlled air conditioning and heating. The bathroom features a shower (approx. 23 m², DSU).

Premium Pool Access

With otherwise similar facilities to the double room, this room offers direct pool access, is approximately 19-23 m² in size, and is located on the sea side (SWD). Available with a sea view for an additional charge (approx. 21 m², 2DA/B2Q).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.
