The Valamar Collection Girandella Resort-Maro Suites is surrounded by a pine forest and stretches along the most beautiful pebble beaches on the east coast of Istria. The city center is approx. 1.5 km away and Pula Airport is approx. 47 km away.

The hotel has 149 rooms spread over several floors, accessible by elevator. Facilities include a selection of restaurants and bars, a currency exchange, complimentary Wi-Fi, a hair salon (at the Girandella Resort), an indoor pool (heated seasonally), a pool with a pool bar, a children's pool with water attractions and slides, as well as a beach bar. Sun loungers and parasols are provided free of charge at the hotel's respective beaches; at public beaches, they are available for a fee. Towels are available for a deposit.

Accommodation

Family Suite

Designed in bright, Mediterranean colors, the family suites offer plenty of space and are furnished with two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds. Additionally, there is a small seating area, a bathroom with a shower, and a balcony with a park view (2FS). Optionally bookable with a sea view and balcony for up to 4 people (2FM), or with a terrace for up to 6 people (ASF).

Family Suite Superior (bookable on request only)

The Family Suite Superior (minimum occupancy: 2 adults and one child), approx. 39 m², consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa, as well as a separate children's room with bunk beds. Further amenities include a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, two sinks (one child-friendly), a step stool, and a changing table. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. Two LCD TVs, air conditioning, a hairdryer, and a coffee set round off the offer. For child safety, socket covers and a baby monitor are provided. The Family Suite Superior also features a balcony (2FF).

With the same amenities and minimum occupancy as the Family Suite Superior, these rooms offer a sea view (2FU).

Terrace Family Suite

With the same amenities and minimum occupancy as the Family Suite Superior (approx. 39 m²), these feature a veranda and two single beds in the separate bedroom, with no sea view (2FT).

Premium Suite Sea View (bookable on request only)

Slightly larger than the Family Suite Superior (approx. 51 m²) and with the same amenities and minimum occupancy as the Family Suite Superior Sea View, these consist of two bathrooms: one with a child-friendly bathtub and stool, and one with a shower. Furthermore, the suite has a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with 2 single beds, an open living room with a sofa bed, a terrace, and a sea view (MP2).

Rich breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet with Mediterranean and international culinary specialties and show cooking at the Maro Premium buffet restaurant. Entry is reserved for guests of the Maro Suites. Snacks at the pool and beach during the afternoon, as well as various local non-alcoholic beverages. During dinner, local beer and wine are included from the drinks station. At the lobby bar, Ria, in the Maro Suites, non-alcoholic beverages, machine-brewed coffee, and tea are included.

Sports included

(subject to availability): Fitness center, hiking and running paths, cycling paths, and aqua aerobics.
Spacious gym with modern equipment and large windows overlooking the pool.

Sports for a fee

Tennis courts, tennis equipment, adventure mini-golf, bicycle tours, bicycle rental, and water sports provided by local third-party providers on the beach.
