Location

Hotel Istra is located on the island of St. Andreas, also known as the Red Island, which is part of the Rovinj archipelago. Boats run hourly from Rovinj to the island between 5:30 AM and 12:30 AM. The town center is accessible by boat (free of charge) in about 15-20 minutes. This car-free oasis is surrounded by sun and sea. A sand and pebble beach with showers, loungers, and umbrellas (included) is approximately 50 meters away.

Facilities

The hotel has a total of 326 rooms. Facilities include a reception hall with a 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi (free throughout the hotel), hotel restaurant, fish restaurant, Captain's Club, pizzeria, grill restaurant, three bars, an aperitif bar, an outdoor freshwater pool, and an outdoor seawater pool for adults and children. Loungers and umbrellas are included for our guests, both by the pool and on the beach.

Double Room (on request)

The comfortably furnished double rooms feature a double bed or 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a furnished balcony (D).

Family Room

With the same amenities as the Superior rooms, the family room has two rooms with a connecting door (DF2).

Superior Double Room

The rooms, approximately 23-29 sqm, are equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, safe, Wi-Fi, and telephone, a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/toilet, hairdryer, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony (DSU/DS1/1DS). Also bookable for 2 adults and one child with an additional sofa bed (KDS).

Junior Suite (on request)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the Junior Suite features an additional living area with a sofa bed for one person and a balcony (JS2).

Executive Suite (on request)

The Executive Suites, approximately 51 sqm, feature an additional living area with a sofa bed or 2 armchairs for two additional people, similar to the double rooms, and a balcony (ES2).

Half Board Plus

Enjoy breakfast and dinner buffets. In addition to dinner, you will receive the following drinks: table wine, draft beer, water, and mineral water, as well as soft drinks from the dispenser.

Gym with modern equipment and large windows overlooking the city.
(subject to availability): Sports activity program such as Zumba, aerobics, water aerobics, fitness, beach volleyball, and archery, included in the animation program only.

Sports for a fee

(subject to availability): Tennis, table tennis, bocce, bicycle rental, Nordic walking pole rental, and various water sports activities offered by local providers: pedal boat rental, paddle boat rental, motorboat rental with skipper, banana boat rental, ball rental (football, basketball, beach volleyball), diving school, and surf school.

Children's program

Children's playground and indoor play area. In the low and shoulder seasons, there is a baby and mini club daily for approximately 1.5 hours in the morning and afternoon. In the high season, there is a baby club (0-4 years) only with parental supervision daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, a mini club (5-11 years) daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, and a teen club (12-18 years) with a specially designed program of leisure activities for teenagers.
