Please note: Due to construction, accommodation is currently only available in the Atrium Wings of the hotel. The construction work is in its final phase (see "Notes" for further information). The Ramla Bay Resort is located on the quiet north coast of Malta, offering a peaceful oasis amidst breathtaking nature. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the resort combines sophisticated comfort with the unmistakable charm of the coast. The comfortable hotel is situated on a peninsula, directly on the gently sloping beach. The hotel offers wonderful views of the islands of Comino and Gozo. The town of Mellieha with restaurants and shops is about 5 km away. There is a daily transfer to Mellieha (except on Sundays/public holidays). The airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel.

Facilities

With 600 well-equipped rooms and suites, modern amenities, and a strong focus on guest experience, the Ramla Bay Resort is the ideal destination for holidaymakers and business travelers seeking a sophisticated and memorable stay. The Ramla Bay Resort offers a diverse range of dining options to suit every taste and occasion. From Mediterranean buffets at Terramar and Italian à la carte dishes at Piatto Nero, to healthy snacks at Bnin Eatery and fresh coffee and salads at Kofi & Kale, guests can enjoy a variety of flavors throughout the day. Seasonal drinks are served at the Pool Bar, while the Brigantine Lounge Bar offers a place to relax year-round.
New additions include a renovated buffet restaurant, a redesigned poolside bar, and a beach bar perfect for sunset cocktails. The Terramar Buffet Restaurant for breakfast and dinner, an à la carte restaurant open every evening, and a cafeteria offering various snacks at specific times.
Further facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, and an indoor pool (heated only in winter). The beautiful outdoor area features three saltwater swimming pools (open from May to October) as well as a pool/snack bar (open only during the high season from May to October) and another bar/cocktail lounge (open every evening, with live music/entertainment on special evenings).
Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and at the 3 hotel pools (seasonal, May to October). Bath towels are available for a deposit.

Accommodation

Comfort Double Room

Designed for wonderful relaxation, the Comfort Rooms with landscape view offer ample space and modern amenities. The decor is designed in either Mediterranean blue or warm earth tones. Additionally, the rooms offer a kettle (free), balcony, internet (free), and flat-screen satellite TV, as well as centrally controlled air conditioning and central heating, and are located on the ground floor or lower floors of the hotel (DKO/EKO/DKA/2CD).

Super Saver Room

The attractively furnished rooms in Mediterranean style are equipped with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, Wi-Fi, coffee machine, minibar, safe (free of charge), and balcony or terrace. Limited availability and special price. The location of the rooms may also vary. (SSZ for single use SSE)

Double Room

The double rooms, approximately 30m², have a double bed, a bathroom, and a balcony. The room also offers air conditioning, a TV, and a safe. Also available as a single room.

Superior Double Room

Located on the 2nd or 3rd floor, the Superior Rooms offer wonderful views of the landscape and are otherwise similarly equipped to the Comfort Rooms (DSU/DAS/DSE/DAE). Also available with sea view (DMU/DSM/UME/DME).

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

They have the same amenities as the Economy Double Rooms but offer a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea and the islands of Comino and Gozo. (DDM/2DM for single use 1DM)
Also available without sea view (DD2/G2Y/DD1/DDA).

Suite

The sea view suites with a small balcony have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, with one bedroom and a separate living area, 2 bathrooms, and satellite TV (S2M/S1M).

Panorama View Suite

The Panorama View Suites have the same amenities as the Suites, with a large balcony, a bedroom, a separate living area, 2 bathrooms, and satellite TV. The minibar will be refilled once for free upon arrival with soft drinks, local wine, beer, juice, and water; afterwards, it is subject to a charge. (approx. 80m², S2/S1)

Suite Sea View Type A

This suite category combines both sea view and panoramic view through a spacious balcony offering far-reaching and great views (2MA/1MA).

Breakfast

Breakfast from 7:30 AM to 10 AM from the buffet.

Half Board

Half board includes breakfast and dinner from the buffet, with no drinks included.

Half Board Plus

Drinks such as water, wine, and coffee are included with dinner.

Sports for a fee

PADI diving center (weather permitting) and various water sports (May to October).

Children's program

Kids' club with children's playroom (ages 4-12). A parent or guardian must accompany the child at all times. Children's playground.

From June 24, 2022, accommodation will only be possible in the Atrium Wing, as the rest of the hotel has been/is being completely renovated.
The construction site will be separated and fenced off for safety reasons. There may be acoustic and visual limitations.
It is possible that 1-2 pools may be closed. However, the main pool should remain open.
The project and the completion of the three new buildings are in the final phase and are expected to be completed soon.
