Location

At the DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn, you are in the immediate vicinity of Vienna's main attractions while simultaneously being "surrounded by greenery." Only 350 m to the Technical Museum and less than 700 m to Schönbrunn Palace with its park, Carriage Museum, Imperial Pavilion, and the oldest zoo in the world. Schönbrunn was the imperial summer residence for over 300 years and has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996.
The city center (4.5 km) is easily accessible by public transport, e.g., in 10 minutes via the U4 subway line to Karlsplatz, the Opera, Stephansplatz, and many other sights such as the Hofburg Palace, the Ringstraße, the Art History and Natural History Museums, or the Spanish Riding School.
Nearby excursion destinations such as Auer-Welsbach-Park (550 m), the Lainzer Tiergarten (6.8 km), the Prater, or the wine taverns in Grinzing are also easily reached.
