Welcome to the cozy Pension Carossa. The guest house is located in the beautiful Abersee region and offers an ideal setting for hiking, cycling, or exploring local restaurants and shops (accessible within approx. 800m). The Abersee is a stunning lake in Austria, situated in the Salzkammergut region near St. Gilgen (approx. 8 minutes by car) and the Wolfgangsee, where the hotel features its own private swimming area with a sunbathing lawn (approx. 800m away). During the warm summer months, the location is perfect for cooling off in one of the region's beautiful lakes. The area is an absolute paradise for families, nature lovers, and active holidaymakers, promising unforgettable memories.
For guests arriving by train, the nearest station is in Salzburg (approx. 38 km), and Salzburg Airport is approximately 42 km away.

These double rooms are similar in their amenities but slightly larger at approx. 25m². They can accommodate 3 people, with a sofa bed provided as an additional sleeping option (DA).

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the Salzburg region from May 1st, 2025, there is a new "Mobility Levy." The fee is collected alongside the local tourist tax per night and is used to improve transport infrastructure. In return, all guests receive free use of public transport at their holiday destination. This levy must be paid regardless of whether public transport is used.
- The mobility levy is a legally mandated charge and must be paid for all taxable overnight stays.
