Location

The FIRSTpeak Zauchensee hotel is situated in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Altenmarkt im Pongau and Lake Zauchensee. With its impressive location in the mountainous region of the Salzburg region, the accommodation is suitable for numerous outdoor activities in both winter and summer. The alpine landscape is a true paradise for nature enthusiasts. The Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl ski area belongs to the Amadé ski association and offers varied slopes for beginners to professionals. In summer, hikers and mountain bikers can choose from numerous hiking and cycling trails with spectacular panoramic views.
In winter, the accommodation offers the opportunity for long winter hikes. A practice lift is available for ski beginners (approx. 200 m away). The mountain lift in the Zauchensee ski paradise ski area is only about 250 m from the property. A hiking trail in direct sight of the accommodation invites you to enjoy secluded winter walks.

In the hotel's own restaurant, guests are pampered with regional and international specialties. Great importance is placed on fresh, seasonal ingredients from the surrounding area when preparing dishes. Superior Double Room

The modern and bright rooms feature a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a single sofa bed, while the bathroom is equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, and vanity mirror. For further comfort, the room includes cable TV, a minibar (for a fee), a desk, and a balcony (approx. 27m², DSU).

Luxury Double Room 2 Extra Beds

The spacious and comfortable rooms are distinguished by a loggia instead of a balcony, and in addition to the double bed, there is a double sofa bed as an additional sleeping option. In addition to the bathroom, there is a separate WC, and the rest of the furnishings are similar to the Superior Double Room (approx. 33m², Z2L).

Junior Suite

These modern and bright rooms feature a kitchenette, a dining area, a shower with WC, a separate WC, a vanity mirror, and a loggia. The rooms consist of a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a double sofa bed. The average room size is approximately 49 m² (JS2).

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the Salzburg region from 1.5.2025, there is a new levy, the "mobility levy". The fee is charged in parallel with the local visitor's tax per overnight stay and is used for the expansion of transport. In return, all guests receive free use of public transport at their holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of the use of public transport.
