Location

Spend a relaxing holiday in Zauchensee. The Magic Mountains Hotel Alpenrose (altitude approx. 1,350 m) is located just about 100 m from the center. You can reach cafes and restaurants after about 50 m, the nearest shops are about 10 km away from your holiday residence. You can reach the nearest sight (Magic Center) after about 450 m. In about 400 m distance, the picturesque Zauchensee lake awaits all water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool in Radstadt, approx. 15.2 km away. In Altenmarkt, about 10 km away, the Amadé thermal spa invites you to enjoy bathing fun regardless of the weather. Around 25.9 km from the hotel is the
Wild- und Freizeitpark Untertauern (Wildlife and Leisure Park Untertauern). Experience untouched nature in the Hohe Tauern National Park, approx. 58 km away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the directly adjacent hiking area Salzburger Sportwelt with a total hiking trail network of approx. 19.5 km and the Altenmarkt and Zauchensee hiking trails. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Gamskogelbahn cable car is also only about 200 m away. Due to its special location, your holiday destination is perfectly suited for cyclists. You can really let off steam on a cycle path directly at the house and with a vast overall network of cycle paths of about 600 km.

Your holiday destination also offers an extensive selection of restaurants, untouched nature, and an impressive mountain backdrop. Experience wonderfully relaxing hours at the Erlebnis-Therme Amadé thermal spa, approx. 1.4 km away. Enjoy the allure of nature on a bike or mountain bike or during extensive hikes. An extensive network of cycle paths and well-marked hiking trails offer the optimal conditions for this. The area can also be wonderfully explored by Nordic walking.
Especially in summer, you can combine experiencing nature and sporting activities excellently by swimming in and around Zauchensee.

The 4-star Magic Mountains Hotel Alpenrose offers, in addition to its 42 accommodation units, a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, a lounge, an e-bike charging station, and an e-car charging station. The traditionally furnished non-smoking rooms (2FS, approx. 36 m²) feature cable TV, telephone, radio, shower or bathtub, separate WC, and hairdryer, and some have a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and a separate living/sleeping area with a bunk bed.

Board begins with dinner on arrival day and ends with lunch or a packed lunch on departure day.
