In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes and cycling tours. A hiking bus (free of charge) will take you to the extensive Wildkogel Arena hiking area, located about 100 m away, with a total network of hiking trails approx. 50 km long and the Emerald Hiking Trail. The hiking bus stop is approx. 50 m away. The Wildkogel mountain lift can also be reached after approx. 300 m. Due to its special location, your holiday destination is perfect for cyclists. You can really let off steam on a cycle path about 100 m away and with an extensive total cycle path network of about 80 km.
Look forward to pure skiing fun in winter, as well as cross-country skiing tours through wintry landscapes. This takes you directly to the Wildkogel Arena ski area. A ski bus stop can be found approx. 30 m from the hotel. A shuttle (possibly for a fee, according to the local timetable) also takes you to the Wildkogel Arena ski area. The mountain lift in the Wildkogel Arena ski area is located just about 300 m from the hotel. The nearest cross-country ski trail is only approx. 100 m away. For those who want to enjoy the scenic beauty of the region on leisurely winter hikes, there are trails available with a total length of approx. 100 m.

The family-friendly Hotel Wolkensteinbär offers a total of 75 accommodation units, a reception, a lounge, an e-bike charging station, and an electric car charging station. Your accommodation consists of a main building and an annex, which are connected to each other. Be pampered with culinary delights in the restaurant as well as in a traditional parlour (Stüberl). Coming from Munich, take the A8 towards Salzburg/Nuremberg. Then take the Inntal junction exit towards Innsbruck/Kufstein. Take the Kufstein Süd exit and then drive on the Loferer federal road towards St. Johann in Tirol and Pass Thurn. In Krimml/Zell am See/Mittersill, turn right onto the Gerlos federal road and drive straight ahead until you reach Bramberg. The accommodation is located directly on the Gerlos federal road, after the OMV petrol station.
