Location

Enjoy a sporty, active holiday in Dorfgastein. The Bergparadies apartment complex (altitude approx. 812 m) is located just 200 m from the centre. Cafés, restaurants, and shops can be reached after only 200 m. In Bad Gastein, about 12 km away, a picturesque swimming lake awaits water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public Solarbad outdoor pool in Dorfgastein, located about 100 m away. In Bad Hofgastein, approximately 10 km away, the public Alpentherme thermal spa invites you to enjoy swimming regardless of the weather.
In summer, the accommodation is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. Explore the beautiful landscape of your holiday region. The Salzburger Sportwelt hiking area is located about 100 m away. The hiking bus stop is 100 m away. The Fulseckbahn cable car is located right on the doorstep.
In winter, it is the ideal starting point for winter hikes and cross-country ski trails. The nearest lift to the Dorfgastein-Grossarltal ski area is about 700 m away.

Facilities

Built in 2013, the Bergparadies apartment complex offers a total of 41 units, an inviting lobby with seating, a reception, an e-bike charging station, and an electric car charging station. Let yourself be pampered in the breakfast room. Cyclists can use the hotel's own lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel.
For your winter sports equipment, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room with a ski boot dryer is available, which can be accessed from inside the building.

Seasonal information

Especially in winter: The towns of Salzburger Sportwelt, Großarltal, Hochkönig, Gasteinertal, and Dachstein together form the Ski Amade ski area, with only one ski pass required for all locations. The winter sports area has perfectly groomed slopes. When the floodlights are on, the slopes can also be enjoyed wonderfully at night. Various places for refreshments and, of course, après-ski opportunities ensure social interaction off the slopes and provide warming drinks and snacks in between. A snowpark and a toboggan run also promise plenty of fun.
In winter, the village is impressive not only due to its central location but especially its impressive mountain scenery. In addition, several interesting day-trip destinations await your visit in the vicinity of Dorfgastein. Highly recommended are Burg Klammstein, approx. 4.1 km away, and the Alpentherme Gastein, 9.1 km away. As soon as the first snowflakes have fallen, Dorfgastein shows itself in its winter splendour. Now, the main focus is naturally on winter sports due to the proximity to the Ski Amade ski area with its total of around 860 kilometres of slopes. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and ice stock sport are just a few of the activities that you can use to pass the time. At the same time, there is the possibility for snowtubing. The snow-covered landscape can be particularly well admired on a winter hike with or without snowshoes or on a ski tour. Tobogganing is also a special pleasure.
