Location

The vibrant small community of Flachau is particularly impressive for its wide range of leisure options. As a special highlight, your holiday destination offers the "Lucky Flitzer" alpine coaster (open year-round). In addition, several interesting day-trip destinations await your visit in the surroundings of Flachau. For example, the Therme Amadé thermal spa, located 6.2 km away, is highly recommended. As soon as winter sets in, Flachau reveals its wintry splendor. Fat biking and snow biking are just some of the activities with which you can pass the time.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and cycling tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the hiking area approx. 350 m away. The hiking bus stop is located approx. 10 m away. You can also reach the Star Jet mountain lift after approx. 400 m. You can stay active and enjoy the landscape at the same time on a bike path approx. 20 m away, which is part of a total cycle path network of about 20 km.

The 3-star superior Hotel Alpenwelt offers you, in addition to its total of 60 residential units, a reception, a lounge, and an open kitchen with a spacious buffet area. Let yourself be culinarily pampered in the à la carte restaurant, another restaurant, and a cozy lounge ("Stüberl"). You can end an eventful day of vacation in a social atmosphere at the hotel bar. Furthermore, a winter garden is available for you to relax in. For your winter sports equipment, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room with a ski boot dryer, which can be accessed from inside the building, is available.
