Location

Experience wonderful days in Fusch on the Großglockner High Alpine Road! This idyllic village is always worth a visit. Cozy bars, the impressive mountain panorama, and the quiet location make it a very special destination. In addition, there are some interesting day trip destinations in the vicinity of Fusch on the Großglockner High Alpine Road waiting to be explored. Zell am See (approx. 8 km away) is particularly recommended. Enjoy the charm of the nature characterized by lush meadows and green forests. Pure nature can also be found in the Hohe Tauern National Park (entrance directly in the village).
In summer, the accommodation is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The Schmittenhöhe hiking area with the Fuscher Höhenwanderweg trail is located directly at the property. The hiking bus stop is about 200 m away. You can reach the Areitbahn cable car after about 8 km. You can get active on a cycle path about 10 m away while enjoying the landscape.
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the local timetable) takes you directly to the Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn ski areas. The ski bus stop is located about 250 m from the property. A practice lift (directly at the property) is available for ski beginners. The Areitbahn cable car in the Zell am See/Schmitten ski area is about 8 km from the property. Another cable car (Schönleitenbahn) in the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area is about 26 km from the property. The nearest cross-country ski trail (Fusch) is only about 100 m away. A hiking trail just about 100 m away invites you for pleasant winter walks.

Facilities

The family-friendly 4-star Feriendorf Ponyhof offers 40 units, a welcoming reception hall with seating areas, a reception, and a lounge with TV. Your accommodation is divided into two main buildings, "Elternhaus" and "Stammhaus," which are connected underground and are approximately 50 m apart. Indulge in culinary delights in the restaurant and a traditional parlor. You can end an eventful day at the hotel bar in good company. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel area. In winter, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the building, along with a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer, is available for your winter sports equipment. SKI INFO: The nearest cross-country ski trail access and a romantic winter hiking trail are about 100 m away.
SKI AREA INFO: The Zell am See-Kaprun ski area is a very extensive ski area, which also includes the Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe, and Maiskogel ski regions. The variety of different pistes and descents such as mogul slopes, off-piste descents, sunny slopes, family slopes, and many more, offer ideal conditions for everyone, from beginners to carving pros, to feel comfortable and get their money's worth. Furthermore, the ski area offers snow parks for special variety and action. The ski area is known for its well-groomed slopes and snow reliability. Groomed pistes: Easy: approx. 25 km, medium: approx. 27 km, difficult: approx. 25 km.
