Location

The Hotel Wasserfall is situated in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, surrounded by a stunning mountain backdrop. The village centre of Fusch, with various entertainment options, shops, and restaurants, is approximately 500 m away. Located on the famous and truly spectacular Grossglockner High Alpine Road, the property serves as the ideal starting point for numerous hikes, mountain bike and motorcycle tours, and excursions in the surrounding area. The protected area for rare orchids in the Ferleitental valley is particularly worth seeing. A public outdoor pool can be found approx. 500 m away. About 7 km away, you will find a swimming lake where you can cool off during the summer. Hiking and cycling trails pass directly by the hotel.
Look forward to pure skiing fun as well as extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the local timetable) takes you directly to the Zell am See/Schmitten & Kaprun ski area. The ski bus stop is located approx. 250 m from the house. For beginners, a practice lift is available (approx. 500 m away). The Areitbahn cable car in the Zell am See/Schmitten ski area is about 10 km from the house. The nearest cross-country ski trail is approx. 500 m away. A hiking trail in direct view of the accommodation invites you for cosy winter walks.

Facilities

The 3-star Hotel Wasserfall is a very cosy, family-run establishment. The hotel has a total of 27 comfortable rooms and features a reception area with a lobby, a sociable hotel bar, and a lovely restaurant with comfortably furnished dining parlours. Guests can indulge in culinary delights from the region and international dishes at the excellent restaurant. The hotel also offers an à-la-carte restaurant. On sunny days, the hotel terrace is perfect for relaxing hours. In winter, a lockable ski room with a ski boot dryer and a lockable bicycle storage room are available.

Double Room

The bright and modern non-smoking rooms are equipped with a double bed and a folding bed, cable TV with integrated radio, shower, WC, and hairdryer; some have a balcony (approx. 19 m², D).

Super Saver Room

The modern and bright non-smoking rooms are slightly smaller and feature a double bed, cable TV with integrated radio, shower, WC, and hairdryer, but do not have a balcony (approx. 17 m², SSZ).

Family Room

The comfortable and spacious family rooms offer a double bed as well as a double sofa bed or bunk bed; otherwise, they are similar in equipment to the double rooms (approx. 24 m², DF2).

Single Room

With similar equipment to the Super Saver rooms, these rooms have a single bed and are slightly smaller (approx. 15 m², E).

Directions to the resort:
Coming from Munich via the A8 motorway in the direction of Salzburg/Innsbruck, change at the Salzburg junction from the A1 to the A10 in the direction of Salzburg South/Graz/Villach; leave the A10 at the Pongau exit. Follow the Pinzgauer Bundesstrasse B311 and turn half right after Högmoos onto the Grossglockner Landesstrasse L271. Follow this until you reach Fusch.
Directions from the resort to the accommodation:
Drive through the village centre of Fusch. You will reach your accommodation after approx. 500 m.
