Location

The Core Kaprun (formerly Das Falkenstein Kaprun) is located in a quiet, natural setting approx. 1.7 km from the center of Kaprun. In the winter months, the region is a true paradise for skiing and snow enthusiasts. A ski bus stops in the immediate vicinity (approx. 30 m away) and takes guests to nearby ski areas. A ski school with ski rental is located approx. 1 km away. Various gondolas and mountain lifts are also suitable for immersing yourself in winter fun: Lechnerberglift (approx. 1.2 km), Maiskogelbahn with connection to the circular gondola lift with direct access to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier (approx. 2.2 km), or the Areitbahn cable car (approx. 5 km).

The very modern Hotel Core Kaprun is a family-friendly 4-star hotel with a total of 40 stylish rooms that blend alpine tradition with contemporary design in a rustic form. In addition to an inviting reception, there is the "Federspiel" restaurant and a trendy lobby with a lifestyle bar, all furnished with great attention to detail. To stay connected, free Wi-Fi can be used at any time. A spacious wellness area of approx. 1,000 m² ensures relaxing moments after an active day and brings body and soul back into harmony. Families also get their money's worth here; play and leisure facilities are available for little guests and young teens.

Comfort Double Room

The "Mansarde" (attic) type double room without balcony is ideal for 2 people and is equipped with a bed with a box-spring mattress (1.40 m wide), shower/WC, sofa or corner bench, flat-screen TV, safe (incl.), bag with rental bathrobe (incl.), telephone, and Wi-Fi (incl.) in the attic (approx. 20 m², DKO).

Superior Double Room

The slightly more spacious Superior rooms consist of a balcony, a double bed or separable twin beds, and an additional sofa bed. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, and there is a separate WC. A bag with a rental bathrobe for adults and children, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe, and Wi-Fi are included (approx. 26 m², DSU).

Studio "Cloud 7"

The open-plan "Cloud 7" studio features a comfortable king-size bed (2x2 meters), a sofa bed, an open bathroom with shower and separate WC, and a balcony. A bag with a rental bathrobe, flat-screen TV (50 inches), telephone, safe, and Wi-Fi are also available free of charge (approx. 32 m², S12). Note: Only with this room category is it possible to add a baby cot for a fee of €30.00 per stay.

Family Suite

The spacious family suites (approx. 40 m²) feature either a 2nd level accessible by stairs, where a double bed is located, or a living/bedroom with a double pull-out sofa and a double room separated by a door with a double bed. Further equipment includes a bath or shower/WC, safe, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony (2FS).

Double Room (from Winter 26-27)

The approx. 26 m² "Active Base" double rooms feature a double bed, a sofa bed, seating area with a desk, bathtub with integrated shower/WC, flat-screen TV, radio integrated in the TV, safe, bag with wellness towels, bathrobe for adults and slippers, telephone, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace (D).

Studio (from Winter 26-27)

At approx. 32 m², the "Kitz" studios are slightly more spacious and equipped with a king-size bed, sofa bed, seating area with desk, open bathroom with shower and separate WC, bag with wellness towels, rental bathrobe for adults as well as slippers, flat-screen TV (50 inches), telephone, safe, Wi-Fi, and balcony (S12).
