Location

Hotel Karla is located in a quiet yet central location on the outskirts of Mauterndorf with panoramic views of the Lungau mountains. The town center with shops, restaurants and bars is about 600 m away, and the hiking paradise with a cable car can be reached in approx. 2 km. The surrounding area of Mauterndorf offers a holiday paradise for active and sports enthusiasts with numerous cycling and hiking trails and ski areas, making the hotel the ideal accommodation for a holiday in the mountains.
Especially in winter: A winter holiday in the Lungau holiday region and in Mauterndorf is simply unique and should not be missed. In this region, winter sports enthusiasts will find a diverse range of winter sports, snow reliability and abundant sunshine. The total of 300 kilometers of slopes between Katschberg and Obertauern delight many visitors to the region every year. Endurance athletes are drawn to the great cross-country ski trails, and the approximately 150 km of groomed cross-country and ski trails offer ideal conditions.

Facilities

The family-run and comfortable hotel offers a total of 35 rooms in a traditional style, providing a cozy holiday atmosphere and inviting you to switch off from everyday life. To welcome guests warmly, there is a reception, lobby, and lounge. Guests are treated to culinary delights in the restaurant or on the terrace with its magnificent panoramic view. The hotel is also well-equipped for conferences or seminars, making it a popular choice for business travelers as well as holidaymakers.

Double room

The comfortable Standard Double Rooms offer a double bed and a bathroom with a bathtub or shower, toilet and hairdryer, as well as a telephone, Wi-Fi (for a fee), TV, rental safe, a small refrigerator and a balcony (approx. 20m², D).

Double room comfort

The rustic rooms in the Comfort category additionally have a double sofa bed and are significantly more spacious, but in their further amenities, they resemble the Standard Double Rooms (approx. 30m², DKO).

Single room

These are furnished similarly to the double rooms but are smaller in size (approx. 15m², E).

2-room family studio

The rooms, furnished with wood and warm colors, have a double bedroom and a separate room with 2 single beds, separated by a connecting door or a curtain, and also offer a seating area and a cozy tiled stove (approx. 36m², STF).
(In winter, bookable as 2FZ as a 2-room family room).
