Location

The Hotel Kendler impresses above all with its central yet quiet location in Saalbach. Situated directly on the ski slope, it is the ideal accommodation for winter sports enthusiasts of all kinds. In summer, numerous events and experiences in nature beckon for a holiday in the mountains. The town center, with further shops and restaurants for strolling, is located about 200m away. For access to the hiking and biking paradise, there is a gondola lift (approx. 200m). Whether it's the fantastic mountain scenery, fresh air, magnificent snow, or bright sunshine, Saalbach-Hinterglemm is worth a visit at any time of year.
Especially in winter:
Skiing from and to the hotel is possible. Bernkogel lift approx. 20m, town center approx. 100m, ski and boot rental approx. 50m.

Thanks to its luxurious furnishings featuring high-quality materials, paired with a personal flair, the Hotel Kendler is excellently suited as accommodation for a family or active holiday. As a true family business, service and comfort for guests are particularly close to the hosts' hearts. This is achieved above all through the 63 rooms in a modern design, the fine cuisine in the hotel's own restaurant, a gourmet experience in the "Herzlstubn", or the relaxing wellness area with indoor and outdoor pool, sauna landscape, and gym. In the "Valley of Games," water parks, exciting adventure hikes, and much more await young visitors. Fun and action are also provided at the Kendler itself, for example, in the playroom. Popular places to linger at the hotel also include the conservatory or the approx. 200m² garden area with sun terrace.

The rooms in the comfort "Classic" category are furnished in a modern style with traditional elements and offer a double bed and double pull-out couch, bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, telephone, cable TV with radio, rental safe, seating area, wellness basket with rental bathrobe for adults and children, bath towels, slippers, and cosmetic products (approx. 32m², DKO). Optionally bookable with balcony (2CB).

Promo Room (Summer)

These are somewhat smaller than the comfort rooms and are suitable for 2 adults and 1 child up to 14 years, featuring a double bed and sofa bed, but without a balcony (approx. 20m², PRZ).

Single Room (Summer)

The single rooms, designed in a wood-look, feature a cozy grand lit bed (120 x 220 cm) and an extra bed, and also have a balcony (approx. 18m², E).

Junior Suite (Summer)

The "Classic" Junior Suites, designed in warm colors with a balcony, offer plenty of space and have a double bed, a double pull-out couch, and an extra bed as sleeping options (approx. 38m², JS2).

Junior Suite Deluxe (Summer)

The "Deluxe" Junior Suites with balcony impress with a double bed, sofa bed, extra bed or double pull-out couch, as well as a separate WC (approx. 38m², J2D).

Suite Deluxe

The 1-room suites of the "Deluxe" type are very spacious and cozy, offering a double bed, double pull-out couch, bathtub and separate shower, as well as a separate WC. The suites also offer a balcony (approx. 44m², S2D).

Suite Comfort Deluxe (Summer)

The bright and spacious Comfort Deluxe Suites with balcony consist of 2 rooms: a living/bedroom with sofa bed and extra bed, and a bedroom separated by a sliding door with a double bed and double pull-out couch. The bathroom offers a bathtub and separate shower, double washbasin, and separate WC (approx. 48m², CSU).

Double Room without Balcony

The double rooms (D, approx. 20m²) feature a double bed and a sofa bed and do not have a balcony. Otherwise, the rooms have the same equipment features.

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1st, 2025, there is a new levy, the "Mobility Levy". The fee is charged in parallel with the local tourist tax per night and goes towards the expansion of transport. In return, all guests receive free use of public transport at the holiday destination.
