Location

Spend a unique holiday in Saalbach. The non-smoking Hotel Austria (approx. 1,000 m above sea level) is located about 1.5 km from the center. Cafés and restaurants can be reached after approx. 500 m, and the nearest shopping facilities are approximately 400 m from your holiday residence. Winter sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth: the access to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski area is only about 1 km away and easily accessible. The well-developed ski bus network allows for stress-free travel to the lifts. Winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails right on the doorstep invite you to enjoy relaxed or sporty activities, while the snow-covered landscape creates a very special atmosphere. The region also has a lot to offer off the slopes. Approximately 20 km away, Zell am See entices with a public indoor pool for weather-independent swimming fun.

The friendly 4-star Hotel Austria offers you 54 total accommodation units (newly renovated rooms), an inviting reception hall with seating, a reception, and an outdoor indoor pool. Your accommodation consists of the "Hotel Austria Saalbach" (main building) and the annex "Villa Austria Saalbach," which is located right next to the hotel (approx. 10m away). Let yourself be spoiled with culinary delights in the breakfast room (newly renovated) and the restaurant. You can end an eventful day of vacation in the hotel bar "Montana Club" or in a social setting at the public bar "Apres Ski Kellerbar," located about 1 km from the hotel. Additionally, a terrace is available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the in-house, lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in any area of the hotel.
NOTE: All services are provided in the main building. Starting winter 2026, "Villa Austria Saalbach" is bookable under SZGB22.

The TOP winter sports region with its wide, perfectly groomed slopes extends up to snow-sure altitudes and features practice lifts for beginners, deep-snow slopes for freeriding, and a race track. Using clear information boards and a detailed slope map, you will always quickly find the way to the next slope. Of course, after a long day of skiing, there are also various possibilities for refined après-ski. A snow park also promises plenty of fun.
