Location

The Romantikhotel Zell am See is located in the idyllic village of Zell am See, directly at the foot of the majestic Kitzsteinhorn mountain and just a few steps from the clear, glittering Lake Zell. The town centre is only approx. 100m away.
In winter, Zell am See offers first-class opportunities for skiing and snowboarding on the surrounding slopes of the Schmittenhöhe and the Kitzsteinhorn. You have direct access from the hotel to the best ski areas in the region and can enjoy the diversity of the winter mountain world. The Cityexpress gondola lift, which provides entry to the Schmittenhöhe hiking area, is located only approx. 500m from the hotel.
In summer, the surroundings entice guests with numerous hiking and cycling trails as well as water sports opportunities on Lake Zell. Whether you discover the lake by stand-up paddling or on a leisurely boat trip, or conquer the mountains on foot or by mountain bike – every nature lover will find what they are looking for here.

Facilities

The family-run Romantikhotel combines tradition and romance under one roof. The 45 themed rooms offer an ideal retreat. The cuisine is characterized by regionality and organic quality, and a selection of traditional as well as international dishes is offered. In addition to the reception area, the hotel offers a cozy bar, an open fireplace, two restaurants, a lounge, an elevator, a terrace, and a garden.

Double Room "Sternchenzimmer"

The cozy double rooms (D, approx. 18 m²) feature a shower/WC, bathrobe, telephone, hairdryer, safe, seating area, cable TV, and central heating.

Double Room "Romantikzimmer"

With otherwise similar facilities to the "Sternchenzimmer", these offer a bit more space (approx. 22 m²) (DA).

Similar in facilities and size to the "Romantikzimmer" double rooms, but offer a balcony or French balcony (DB).

Garden Suite

Suite in the country house by the rose garden, connected underground to the main building, with visually separated living and sleeping areas, shower/WC, hairdryer, tea station, cable TV, telephone, room safe, bathrobes, and balcony (S2).

Arrival by car

The hotel is easily accessible by both car and train. The Zell am See train station is only 5 minutes away, allowing guests to arrive without their own vehicle. Salzburg Airport is reachable in about an hour, and Innsbruck Airport is also easily accessible.
