Location

Experience a unique holiday in the Styria holiday region. The non-smoking Hotel Kielhuberhof (in a panoramic location at approx. 1,000 m) is located around 3 km from the centre of Ramsau am Dachstein. Cafés and restaurants can be reached after approx. 1 km, and the nearest shopping facilities are approximately 3 km from your holiday home. Take a trip into the surroundings – our tip: Dachstein Glacier (approx. 7 km from your accommodation).
Look forward to pure skiing fun, cross-country skiing tours in winter landscapes, and extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the local timetable) takes you directly to the Planai/Schladming ski area. The ski bus stop is located approx. 50 m from the hotel. A practice lift (approx. 5 km away) is available for beginners. The Planaibahn cable car in the Planai/Schladming ski area is about 3 km from the hotel. Cross-country skiers will also get their money's worth. The total cross-country trail length is approx. 150 km; the nearest trail (Leitenloipe) is only around 50 m away. Those wishing to enjoy the scenic beauty of the region during cosy winter hikes have a widely branched path network with a total length of around 100 km at their disposal, with the popular Leitenrunde trail just 50 m away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes. A hiking bus (free of charge) takes you to the directly adjacent hiking area with a hiking trail network totalling approx. 100 km in length and the Buchenweg hiking trail. You can reach the bus stop for the hiking bus quickly and comfortably. You can also reach the Planaibahn cable car after approx. 3 km. You can get active and enjoy the landscape at the same time on a cycle path approx. 3 km away.

Facilities

The comfortable 4-star Hotel Kielhuberhof offers a total of 30 accommodation units, an inviting lobby with seating, a reception, and a terrace, as well as the beautiful "Wellness-Vital" spa area (approx. 120 m²), featuring, among other things, a bio sauna, outdoor sauna, steam bath, and adventure shower. For your culinary well-being, a breakfast room, a restaurant, the hotel bar, and the "Kaminstube" lounge are at your disposal. Cyclists can use the hotel's own lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted throughout the hotel area.
A lockable ski and snowboard storage room, accessible from inside the hotel, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer, are available for your winter sports equipment.

The locally styled family rooms (DF2, approx. 45 m²) offer additional sleeping options, with otherwise similar facilities to the double rooms (DF2).

Double room 2 extra beds

With otherwise similar facilities to the double room with one extra bed, these also offer a sofa bed in addition to the extra bed (Z2D, approx. 26 m²).

Double room Comfort 1 extra bed

The Comfort double rooms are similar in facilities to the double rooms, but are larger at approx. 26 m² and feature a double bed as well as a fixed single bed (Z1C).

Ski area Ski Amadé Planai: Altitude: approx. 745-1,894 m. The TOP winter sports area Ski Amadé Planai, with its wide slopes, is suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels due to its snow-sure altitude and offers a race track, various snow-making facilities, and a magnificent panorama. In the children's area, the smallest skiers can experience a lot. Near the slopes, various huts invite you to stop for a break. A snow park and a toboggan run also promise plenty of fun.
