Location

The alpine and inviting Aktivhotel Feichtner Hof combines typical hospitality with a special ambiance, making it the ideal accommodation for a holiday in the Austrian mountains. The hotel is situated in a quiet and sunny location on the outskirts of Feichten in the Kaunertal valley. In the immediate vicinity, there are numerous activities and leisure options, such as the Quellalpin Center with a swimming pool, indoor activities like a gym or boulder hall, as well as outdoor activities such as beach volleyball (approx. 300 m away). The Kaunertal Glacier is approx. 15 km away. Access to the "Knappensteig" adventure trail can be reached easily on foot in summer.
Especially in winter:
Right next to the hotel is a beginner's ski lift, as well as a conveyor belt and a rope lift for the youngest guests. A special highlight for children is that those born in 2018 or later receive a free ski pass. Numerous winter hiking trails, an illuminated toboggan run, and a 25 km network of cross-country ski trails are also easily accessible from the Feichtnerhof within a few minutes' walk. You can find skiing fun on the Kaunertal Glacier (approx. 18 km) or in the family ski area of Fendels (approx. 13 km).

Facilities

This traditional accommodation with a modern touch offers guests a total of 44 comfortable rooms, which are bright and furnished with alpine design elements and local products, providing the perfect holiday feeling. A large portion of them were lovingly rebuilt or renovated between 2020 and 2023. All new rooms feature a balcony with a view of the impressive Kaunertal mountains and have been furnished with great attention to detail using regional pine or (reclaimed) spruce wood. Further amenities include a bar & restaurant, a cozy lounge, a lift, and a sun/cafe terrace with deck chairs and umbrellas. The restaurant is a culinary delight for all senses, serving varied dishes from Austrian and international cuisine. For special relaxation of body & mind, we recommend a visit to the hotel's own wellness area with a sauna, while those who prefer to be more active can work out in the gym.

Double room Glacier (Summer)

The bright and cozy double room features a bathtub or shower, partly separate WC, hairdryer, cable TV, radio, safe, partially a balcony, and a rental bathrobe for adults (approx. 30m², D).

Double room Erspenblick (Summer 25)

These modern rooms, with otherwise similar amenities, have a balcony and an additional pull-out sofa, and are more spacious (approx. 35m², DA).

Double room Ögg-Pine (Summer)

These completely newly designed rooms are slightly smaller, suitable for 2 people, and also feature a shower and a separate WC as well as a balcony (approx. 27m², DB).

Junior suite (Summer)

The junior suite "Adlerblick" offers sufficient space and, in addition to the double bed, has a fold-out extra bed, seating area, and balcony or small conservatory (approx. 40m², JS2).

Single room

The single rooms are double rooms for single use; however, they only partially offer a balcony (approx. 22 m², E).

Double room balcony

The cozy double rooms with balcony (approx. 23-30 m², DBK) are equipped with a double bed, seating area, bath/shower and WC, hairdryer, TV, and safe.

Family room

With approx. 35 m², the family rooms offer more space and, in addition to the double bed, feature a pull-out sofa, bath or shower/WC, and balcony (DF2).

Family room loggia

These family rooms are slightly larger at approx. 40 m² and feature a double bed, sofa bed, small refrigerator, seating area, bath/WC, small conservatory/loggia (heated), and an extra bed (2FA).
