Location

The beautiful region of Tyrol is always worth a visit in both summer and winter months. Both active vacationers and those looking for relaxation will feel at home here. The Gasthof Jäger is situated in the middle of Schlitters in a panoramic location at an altitude of approx. 560m. Cafes, restaurants, and shopping facilities can be reached in approx. 20m.
In the winter months, the region is particularly suitable for alpine skiers and cross-country skiers, but great winter hikes are also possible there. A free ski bus runs (according to the local timetable). The ski bus stop is located directly at the house. For beginner skiers, there is a ski school approx. 5 km away as well as a practice lift (approx. 5 km away). The Spieljochbahn cable car in the Spieljoch ski area in Fügen is about 4 km from the house. The nearest cross-country ski trail is only approx. 200 m away. A hiking trail in direct sight of the accommodation invites you to take cozy winter walks.

In the summer months, the hotel is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. The hiking area with the Zillertal hiking trail is right by the house. The Zillertal cycle path can be reached after approx. 100m.

The friendly, family-run Gasthof Jäger offers its guests 22 comfortably furnished accommodation units. The inn also features an inviting lobby, a reception, a lounge with TV, and a terrace which is also open in winter. An à la carte restaurant and another restaurant take care of the guests' physical well-being. For winter sports equipment, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the house is available, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer.

Half Board (Winter)

Boarding starts on the arrival day with dinner and ends on the departure day with breakfast.
Daily rich breakfast buffet with organic corner, fresh fruit, coffee specialties, and breakfast eggs; in the evening, a 3-course menu including salad buffet. Vegetarian dishes are possible on request; gluten-free and lactose-free meals are possible on-site for an extra charge (approx. € 5 per person/day).

Ski area Ski Optimal-Hochzillertal: Altitude: approx. 650-2,100 m. The TOP winter sports area Ski Optimal-Hochzillertal with its perfectly groomed slopes also offers a race course. But it's not just skiers who get their money's worth here, as the area is considered a cross-country skiing Eldorado with approx. 40 km of classic cross-country trails. Of course, after a long day of skiing, there are also various options for a sophisticated après-ski. A toboggan run also promises plenty of fun.

Coming from Munich, take the A12 and take the Wiesing exit. Change here to the B169 and drive to Schlitters. Drive through the Brettfall tunnel and then turn right into Schlitters. In the village center, right after the music pavilion, you will find Gasthof Jäger on the right side.
