The popular PortoBay Falésia hotel is located on top of the cliffs, directly on the steep coast or by the sea, and is only about 400 m from the approximately 8 km long dream beach "Praia da Falésia" (directly accessible via stairs). The center of Olhos de Água with its cozy restaurants is only about 500 m away. Further restaurants, bars, discos, shopping and entertainment facilities can be reached within approx. 5 minutes on foot. The nearest towns to the hotel are Armacao De Pera (approx. 15 km), Vilamoura (approx. 18 km) and Albufeira (approx. 8 km). A bus stop is located nearby. The nearest train station is approx. 15 km away. Faro International Airport is approx. 35 km away.

The 4-star hotel has a total of 310 comfortable rooms. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, a lobby with seating areas, a library, the "Madeira" restaurant, the "il Basilico" restaurant and bar, the "Búzios" bar, a well-kept outdoor area with a sun terrace, garden, sunbathing lawn, swimming pool (freshwater), a separate children's pool, and the "il Basilico" pool bar/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for hotel guests in the pool and garden area (for a fee on the beach, offered by local providers).

Double Room

The double rooms are approx. 22 m² and have a bathroom with a bathtub or shower, toilet, hairdryer and complimentary Rituals toiletries, two single beds (twin), air conditioning/heating, safe (included), minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee set, telephone, Smart TV, Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished balcony (D). Also available as a double room type I with a limited quota, bookable at a special price (DI). Double rooms with sea view can be booked for an additional charge (DM).
Also available as double rooms with partial sea view (DMS) and single use double rooms (DE).

Superior Double Room

These rooms are more spacious, approx. 27 m², with all other features being the same as the double rooms (DSU). (Also bookable under FAOA32).

Junior Suite (FAOA32)

These rooms have a bedroom with two single beds, satellite TV with LCD screen, a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, hairdryer, a living room with armchairs, a side table, a desk with a mirror and chair, air conditioning (heating/cooling), and a veranda with a table and chairs (JS2).

Super Saver Room Type B (FAOA32)

With all other features the same as the standard double room, at a special price (SZB).

Double Room (FAOA32)

These rooms feature a balcony, shower, air conditioning, minibar, telephone, and hairdryer (D).
Available with partial sea view (AMS/DMS) or sea view (DM) at an additional charge.

Single Room (FAOA32)

These rooms are smaller with all other features being the same (E).
Also available with sea view (EM) at an additional charge.

Buffet breakfast. Half board includes dinner in buffet or à la carte style (depending on occupancy). Full board includes lunch in à la carte style. Daily themed buffets rotate weekly. Show cooking.
Half Board Plus is only bookable in winter: Drinks are also included with dinner (0.375l house wine, 1 water, 1 beer or 1 soft drink).
