Location

The Auramar Beach Resort is situated in Albufeira above the sea, set within extensive green grounds and offering panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean. It is approximately 2.5 km to the lively town center of Albufeira (complimentary shuttle bus available several times daily, subject to availability, included, year-round). The public sandy beach 'Praia dos Aveiros' is only about 100 m away and can be accessed directly from the resort via stairs. Numerous shopping and entertainment venues as well as restaurants and bars are about 500 m away. The distance to Faro Airport is approximately 40 km.

For an extra portion of comfort, the renovated Superior double rooms (also approx. 17 m²), which are bright and modernly designed with otherwise similar facilities to the double rooms, feature a walk-in shower as well as laminate flooring (D2S). Directions from Faro Airport (FAO):
Follow the road from the airport heading west for approx. 140 m. After approx. 750 m, turn left onto the N125-10. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards N125-10. After approx. 600 m, merge right onto the ramp to "Loulé/Lisbon/Portimao". Now drive onto the IC4. Keep left and follow the IC4. After approx. 36 km, take the ramp to merge onto the A22 towards "Lisbon/Portimão/Albufeira". Take exit 9 towards "Guia/Albufeira". You are now on the IC1. After the fork, keep left towards "Albufeira/Ferreira" and drive parallel to the IC1 Acessos/N125. Drive over a ramp. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit towards N395. At the next roundabout, take the third exit towards "Avenida Dos Descobrimentos". After 30 m, turn right onto Avenida Dos Descobrimentos. Keep slightly right onto "Rua da Projectada". Take the 1st street on the left towards "Rua Miguel Torga". Follow the upcoming street on your right, "Rua Dunfermline", until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to "Avenida Infante Dom Henrique". Now turn right into "Rua Vasco da Gama". After 500 m, turn right again. You are still on Rua Vasco da Gama. Now keep left and after 230 m, turn right and then right again at the 2nd street. You have reached the Auramar hotel.
Directions from Lisbon Airport (LIS):
Follow the road from the airport heading northeast for approx. 14 m. Turn right onto "Avenue Berlim". After approx. 62 m, turn left onto "Avenue Berlim". Keep slightly right (still Av Berlim) and go through the 1st roundabout. Turn left onto "Avenida Cidade do Porto" (signposted A1/A8/A12). Take exit E01 and then exit 14 towards "A12/Sul/Ponte Vasco da Gama". You are now driving parallel to the IC17. From here, continue until you reach the A12 (partially with motorway toll). At the IP1 (signs for Évora), also with motorway toll, take exit A2 (motorway toll). After approx. 202 km, take exit 15 to merge onto the A22 towards "Lagos/Portimão/Albufeira". After another 5 km, take exit 9 towards "Guia/Albufeira". Take the IC1. After a fork, keep left towards "Albufeira/Ferreira" and follow the IC1 Acessos/N125. Drive over a ramp and reach a roundabout.
