Location

The Pestana Alvor Beach Villas are part of the Pestana Dom Joao II Beach & Golf Resort, located directly on the bright sandy beach of "Praia de Alvor," and were largely renovated in 2024/2025. The town center is only approx. 1 km away. Further shopping and entertainment options can be found in the harbor town of Portimao, about 7 km away. Faro International Airport is approximately 70 km away.

The extensive 4-star holiday complex has 44 villas. Facilities include an entrance area with a 24-hour reception, lounge bar (at the Pestana Dom João II), elevators, a buffet restaurant with a terrace (at the Pestana Dom João II), a bar, and a conference room. The complex is surrounded by a well-kept garden with a saltwater swimming pool, a children's pool (at the Pestana Dom João II), and a sun terrace. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and cushions are included. There is a beach bar on the beach. Sun loungers here are available for a fee.

Villa (1 bedroom)

The renovated villas (1 bedroom) are approx. 35 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, living area with a sofa bed, separate bedroom with two single beds (twin), air conditioning, safe, cable TV (LCD television), Wi-Fi (included), and a kitchenette (with ceramic hob, refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, and kettle), dining table, chairs, and a balcony or terrace with garden view (V2).

Villa (2 bedrooms)

The villas (2 bedrooms) are more spacious at approx. 54 m² with the same facilities as the villas (1 bedroom) but with one bathroom, and feature two separate bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds (V22).

Villa (3 bedrooms)

The villas (3 bedrooms) are more spacious at approx. 100 m² with the same facilities as the villas (1 bedroom) and feature three separate bedrooms with single beds or double beds (V3).

Villa Superior (2 bedrooms)

The renovated Superior villas (2 bedrooms) are approx. 69 m² in size and feature, with the same facilities as the villas (1 bedroom), 2 separate bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single beds) and 2 bathrooms (2VE).

Villa Premium (2 bedrooms)

The Premium villas are more spacious at approx. 89 m² with the same facilities as the Superior villas (2 bedrooms) (2VP).

Arrival by car

Directions from Faro Airport (FAO):
Follow the road heading west for approx. 140 m. After approx. 750 m, turn left onto the N125-10. At the following roundabout, take the second exit towards N125-10. After approx. 600 m, the road leads right onto the ramp towards "Loulé/Lisbon/Portimao." You are now on the IC4. At the upcoming fork, keep left and stay on this road (IC4). After about 56 km, take the ramp towards "Lisbon/Portimão/Albufeira" to join the A22. Take exit 4 towards EM531-1 and continue onto A22 Acessos. At the next roundabout, take the second exit towards EM531-1 in the direction of "Estr. Montes de Alvor." Continue on the A22 and keep following signs for EM531-1/Estr. Montes de Alvor. You will then reach "Rua Serpa Pinto." In Alvor, enter a roundabout and take the 1st exit towards "Rossio Grande." After approx. 450 m, turn right, then after 170 m turn left, and after 80 m turn left again. After a slight left bend, you have reached the hotel.
Directions from Lisbon Airport (LIS):
Follow the road heading northeast for approx. 14 m. Now turn right onto "Avenue Berlim." After approx. 62 m, turn left and stay on "Avenue Berlim." You will reach a roundabout; take the exit to the left onto "Avenida Cidade do Porto" (signposted A1/A8/A12). Take the E01 exit and re-join at exit 14 towards "A12/Sul/Ponte Vasco da Gama." This runs parallel to the IC17. From here, continue to the A12 (partially with toll roads). Leave the motorway at the IP1 (signs for Évora) and join the A2. After approx. 202 km, take exit 15 to reach the A22 towards "Lagos/Portimão/Albufeira." After another 34 km, take exit 4 towards EM531-1 and join the A22 Acessos. At the next roundabout, take the second exit towards EM531-1 in the direction of "Estr. Montes de Alvor." Continue on the A22 and keep following signs for EM531-1/Estr. Montes de Alvor. You will then reach "Rua Serpa Pinto." In Alvor, enter a roundabout and take the 1st exit towards "Rossio Grande."
