The hotel features 163 rooms and is situated directly on the cliffs, offering a spectacular view over the Ponta da Piedade peninsula. The public rocky beach 'Porto de Mos' (bathing shoes recommended) is approx. 800 m away, the city/town center with entertainment options such as bars and restaurants is approx. 1 km away, a bus stop is approx. 1 km away, a hospital and a pharmacy are within a radius of approx. 3 km, Faro Airport is approx. 92 km away, and Lisbon Airport is approx. 300 km away.

The 38-hectare 5-star resort is divided into 5 hotel wings with themes: Portugal, Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa. It features a total of 105 rooms (80 double rooms, 23 suites, 1 Grand Suite, and 1 Master Suite) and 58 apartments (with 1 or 2 bedrooms). Facilities include a 24-hour reception, elevator, Senses Restaurant (with outdoor terrace, open daily for dinner from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Mundi Restaurant (open seasonally), 'Lighthouse' Bar (open daily from 10:30 AM - midnight), 'The Gastropub Portuguese Soul' (open daily from 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), and 'Sandy Bay' pool bar (open seasonally from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM), conference/meeting room for 300 people (351 m²), extensive gardens, a sun terrace, 3 swimming pools for adults, and 2 pools for children. Sun loungers and parasols are provided free of charge to hotel guests in the pool area (available at the beach for a fee, provided by local vendors).

Double room

The double rooms (approx. 45 m²–57 m²) are furnished in a contemporary style, each inspired by the African, Asian, South American, or European continents or the country of Portugal. They feature a spacious furnished balcony or terrace, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and pay-TV (for a fee), wardrobe, air conditioning, safe (included), minibar (for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), slippers, bathrobes, and a modern natural stone bathroom with bathtub, separate shower cabin, hairdryer, toilet, illuminated vanity mirror, and 'L’Occitane®' toiletries. (D) Double rooms with pool view (PD) or sea view (DM) can be booked for an extra charge. Also bookable for single occupancy (DE), including with pool view (PDE) or sea view (DEM).

Suite Sea View

The elegant suites (approx. 60–82 m²) with sea view are furnished in a contemporary style and each inspired by the African, Asian, South American, or European continents. They are designed according to the same concept and furnished like the double rooms, with the addition of a separate living room with another flat-screen TV with cable channels and pay-TV (for a fee), as well as an espresso machine and tea-making facilities (S2M).

Apartment

The apartments (1 bedroom) are approx. 67 m²–77 m² and feature a bathroom with bathtub and L’Occitane® personal hygiene products, living/dining room, sofa bed, modern and fully equipped kitchen (with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, oven, stove, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine, iron, tableware, elegant dining service, and kitchen utensils), separate bedroom, air conditioning, flat-screen TV with cable channels and pay-TV (for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), bathrobe and slippers, high chair (upon request), and a furnished terrace (A12). Every year from early December to early January, only the apartments can be booked on a self-catering basis, as most hotel facilities are closed during this period.
Closed/not bookable are: the hotel rooms/suites, restaurants, bar, spa, and Kids Club. Open/bookable are: the apartments (self-catering), gym, tennis court, and reception (limited hours from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, located in apartment no. 601 during this time).

Arrival by car

Take the second motorway exit (A22) towards Lagos (Lagos, Vila do Bispo, Sagres) and follow the road to the second roundabout. Turn left towards Lagos city center. You will see a gas station on the left. After about 300 m, turn right at the roundabout (local traffic). Continue straight through the next four roundabouts. At the last roundabout, continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Cascade Resort.
