Location

The quinta, with its individual charm, is set amidst a beautiful garden landscape on the outskirts of the pilgrimage site of Monte, above Funchal. The center of Funchal is approximately 3 km away. You can reach it using two extraordinary means of transport: the historic toboggan ride or a cable car (both at a charge), the starting point of which is just a few minutes' walk away.

The stylish 4-story building with a total of 42 rooms features a lobby, à la carte restaurant, conservatory, elevator, bar, library, Wi-Fi (included in the lobby & rooms), common rooms, games room, and an indoor swimming pool. The park-like garden area with lush vegetation (including over 300-year-old trees) and wonderful views over the bay of Funchal is particularly inviting. In the garden area, there is also an old chapel adorned with hand-painted azulejos (typical Madeiran wall tiles).

Double room

The double rooms, renovated in 2024, are approximately 23 sqm and feature wooden floors, a bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning/heating, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe (free of charge), and a balcony with garden view (D).

Additionally available from Winter 25/26 as double room type I (DI).

Double room Superior

The Superior double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located on the upper floor and additionally feature an armchair, desk, and chair (DSU).

Every year, the famous FLOWER FESTIVAL takes place on Madeira - the "Festa da Flor". Admire the elaborately decorated floats and let yourself be carried away by the joie de vivre.
