Location

Surrounded by a beautiful 5,000 m² tropical garden, the hotel is situated on a cliff in Ponta da Cruz with direct access to the promenade and offers a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and Cabo Girao. It is approx. 5 km to the center of Funchal and approx. 35 minutes by car (approx. 22 km away) to the airport. A bus stop is located near the hotel.

The hotel has 8 floors in total and features 183 rooms distributed over 5 floors. It offers a large lobby, bar, lounge, conference rooms, Wi-Fi (included in public areas and rooms), hairdresser, games room, and a billiards room. There is a wide selection of different restaurants (à-la-carte restaurants included in half-board with reservation). From Moroccan cuisine in the "Au Tagine" restaurant to Italian delicacies in the "Trattoria de la Fontana" and traditional Portuguese dishes in the "Cabo Girao" grill restaurant, as well as international theme buffets in the main restaurant 'Atrium'. In the garden area, there is a seawater pool landscape (approx. 1,000 m²), a pool/snack bar, and a sun terrace with sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas.

Single room

The single rooms are double rooms for sole use. Double rooms for sole use with side sea view can be booked for an additional charge.

Suite sea view

The suites have the same equipment as the double rooms, include an additional living room, 2 balconies, and a sea view.

Family room

The spacious family rooms are approx. 39 m² in size and equipped like the double rooms. They have a furnished balcony overlooking the hotel garden, with partial side sea views of the Atlantic Ocean. These rooms consist of a bedroom with two single beds and an additional sofa bed.

The superior double rooms with sea view are equipped like the double rooms, feature a balcony, sea view, and are located on the fourth floor.
