This comfortable and stylishly furnished hotel with a total of 118 rooms, spread across 2 buildings, features an entrance hall with reception, 2 elevators, a conference room, the à-la-carte restaurant "Villa Mare" with a bar, and a bar/cafe (public, not open continuously). schauinsland-reisen-Original, renovated: The modern Premium double rooms with balcony are located in the new part of the building, are completely renovated, and feature the same amenities as the double rooms with balcony, with the addition of a walk-in shower (PDZ). Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
From the airport, take the motorway towards Funchal until the exit for Funchal/Monte/Sao Roque. Then turn right towards Funchal Center (Centro). On the main road, head down to Funchal, passing 2 gas stations, through a bridge, and at the next traffic light turn right into Rua dos Netos. Hotel Orquidea is located on the right-hand side.
