The 5-star hotel, partially renovated in 2021, features a total of 174 rooms. Facilities include a reception area with 24-hour front desk, lobby with seating areas, function/event rooms, the "Armada" restaurant, the "Neptunus" à la carte restaurant, the "Thatcher's Bar" lobby bar (with an outdoor terrace and magnificent views of the sea and the harbor), a piano bar (with indoor and terrace service), an outdoor area with a beautifully landscaped subtropical garden including fountains and small waterfalls, 2 large saltwater swimming pools (one of which is heated) with children's pool, whirlpool, "Neptunus" pool/snack bar, and the "Armada Deck" barbecue terrace. Driving directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
Take the expressway towards Funchal. Leave the expressway at the "Funchal/Porto/Hospital" exit. Follow the road and drive past the Funchal Hospital (visible on the right side). Continue to follow the road (downhill) until you reach a large intersection. Cross it and take the second exit onto Rua Carvalho Araujo. After a few meters, you will see the entrance to the Royal Savoy Hotel on your right.
