The modern 4-star property has a total of 208 rooms and 30 studios. Amenities include two restaurants with panoramic views of the city (the "BayView" buffet restaurant as well as the à-la-carte restaurant "Desarma," which was awarded a Michelin star in 2024), two bars, a lounge, a conference room, an internet zone (free of charge), a TV room, a games room, and elevators. In the outdoor area, there is a swimming pool, sun terrace (sunshades, loungers, and cushions are at your disposal), and a snack bar/bistro.

The double rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, telephone, satellite TV, safe (included), minibar, coffee/tea maker, bathrobe and slippers, as well as a balcony (D). Double rooms with sea view are available at an additional cost (DM). Also available as a double room for single use (DE) or double room with sea view for single use (DEM). Also available as a Type O double room (DZO) or Type O sea view (DMO), as well as a Type I sea view double room (DMI) with a special price and limited availability (DMO).

Superior double room with sea view

The superior double rooms with sea view are located on the 7th and 8th floors and are equipped with a bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, seating area with a table, LCD TV, safe (included), minibar, coffee/tea maker, air conditioning, and a furnished balcony. In addition, guests receive a welcome package with soft drinks as well as coffee and tea bags (DMU).

Studio

The studios feature 2 separate beds, 1 sofa bed, dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave; otherwise, they are equipped like the double rooms (S12).

Deluxe double room

The deluxe double rooms are renovated, located on the upper floors (9th and 10th floors), and feature air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), TV, telephone, safe (included), walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, and balcony, optionally with sea view. All deluxe guests receive the following special services: exclusive breakfast menu, welcome package with Madeira wine and chocolate, free pillow menu, espresso machine, Ecoline brand toiletries, turndown service, and a 15% discount in restaurants and bars (DD2). Also available for single use (DD1). Also available with sea view (DDM/1DM).

Junior suite

In addition to the same facilities and amenities as the deluxe double rooms, the renovated junior suites offer guests a kitchenette as well as additional finger food and a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival (J2D). Optionally bookable with a sea view (JDM). Also available for single use (J1D/JDE).

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
Please take the motorway/expressway towards Funchal. After 16 km, take exit no. 12 Funchal/Campo da Barca. Follow the road towards Funchal-Campo da Barca. After approx. 3 km, please take the Funchal Oeste exit; you will see the fire station on your right. Continue following the road; you will pass through two tunnels. You will reach a roundabout; take the 3rd exit and pass through another tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, after approx. 100 m, you will reach Hotel The View Baia on your right.
