The hotel, part of the well-known Pestana Hotel Group, has a total of 128 rooms spread across 8 floors. It offers a reception area, 2 elevators, 2 restaurants (including a themed restaurant and an à la carte restaurant), a game room with a small library, and a pool/snack bar and a cocktail bar. The outdoor area of the complex features three freshwater swimming pools with a separate area for children and a whirlpool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms with Sea View feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, seating area with sofa bed, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV (LCD TV), pay TV (for a fee), safe (free of charge), minibar (for a fee), and a wooden floor with a terrace or balcony located on the ground floor and first floor (DM). Superior Double Room Sea View

The Superior Double Rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms with Sea View, featuring a bath or shower/WC, but are located in a preferred position from the 2nd floor upwards (DMU).

Classic Room (FNCA02)

These rooms, approximately 21 square meters, are located in the basement and feature two single beds, a minibar (for a fee), a safe, LCD TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a bathtub/WC, and a hairdryer. The rooms are only accessible by stairs (CC2/CL2).

Double Room Pool View (FNCA02)

These spacious rooms, like the Classic Rooms, also offer two single beds and a balcony with a pool view (PD/SZP/EP/SZE). For an additional charge, rooms with a partial sea view are also available (DMS/RX2/EMS/RX1).

Suite Sea View (FNCA02)

The cozy suites (approx. 66 sqm, S2M) feature a visually separated sleeping area, a living/sleeping area, air conditioning, bath or shower/WC, TV, minibar (for a fee), rental safe, and a balcony.

Star Tour Excursion Program (subject to change/daily arrival possible):
Eira do Serrado/Monte (Monday/Thursday): Discover the most beautiful panoramas of Madeira on this half-day tour. From Pico dos Barcelos hill, you overlook the bay of Funchal, and it continues to Eira do Serrado, from where you can look down into the crater of an extinct volcano. At the very bottom lies the village of Curral das Freiras (Valley of the Nuns). Continue to Monte, where you will visit the church of Nossa Senhora do Monte. On the way back, you have the opportunity to ride the traditional wicker sledges. (Not included in the price)
Porto Moniz (Wednesday/Friday): Departure towards Câmara de Lobos (fishing village where the famous Espada – black scabbardfish – is caught). Continue via Cabo Girão (highest sea cliff in Europe at 580m), and then the route follows the coast to Ribeira Brava. From Ponta de Sol, the road ascends to the Pául da Serra plateau (1400m). Finally, descend to Porto Moniz to the natural sea pools. A lunch break is taken here. The return journey is via the north coast, passing through Seixal to São Vicente. From there, ascend via the Encumeada pass (1007m), offering views of both the north and south coasts. Subsequently, return to Funchal.
Santana (Tuesday/Saturday): Departure into the mountains via Poiso towards Pico do Arieiro (1810m). Descend to Ribeiro Frio. Here you are in the heart of Madeira's laurel forest (Laurisilva), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Santana, known for its thatched-roof houses. A lunch break is taken here. Afterwards, visit Pico do Facho. Subsequently, return to Funchal.
Levada and Botanical Garden (Monday/Wednesday): The 4th and final excursion leads you after an approx. 1.5-hour Levada walk (difficulty level: easy) to the Botanical Garden, famous for its approximately 3,000 different plant species (entrance fee and guided tour included).
