This unique hotel features a total of 81 rooms (spread across several interconnected buildings), a reception with a lounge area, the outstanding à-la-carte restaurant "Tipografia", a cozy "Iris" cocktail bar with an outdoor terrace, and conference rooms (for up to 70 people). On the hotel's roof, there is a modern freshwater swimming pool and a whirlpool with a "Pretas" pool bar offering a unique view over the bay of Funchal.

Double Room

The comfortably furnished double rooms (approx. 20 m²) have been decorated with great attention to detail and feature a shower, toilet, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, pool towels, kettle with tea and coffee, air conditioning, minibar, flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi (included), and safe (included) (D). Also bookable as a double room for single use (DE). Also bookable as a double room Type O with limited availability and special pricing (ZOD).
In the 2026 summer season and winter 26/27, double rooms can also be booked as a Young Traveller Room (YTR) at a special price (all travelers must be between 18 and 29 years old).

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Rooms Deluxe (DD2) have the same facilities as the double rooms but additionally feature a balcony. Also bookable as a Double Room Deluxe for single use (DD1), or as a Double Room Deluxe Type O (DDO) with limited availability at a special price.

Double Room Deluxe Premium

Schauinsland-Reisen Original: The Double Rooms Deluxe Premium have the same facilities as the Double Rooms Deluxe but feature a large furnished balcony and offer a Nespresso coffee machine. Upon arrival, guests receive a bottle of Madeira wine and a honey cake, as well as a daily bottle of water in the room. (XDP).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (approx. 30 m²), while otherwise having the same facilities as the double rooms, include an integrated living area and a French balcony (JS2).

Suite

The suites are quite spacious at approx. 40 m² and, while otherwise having the same facilities as the Junior Suites, include a separate living room. Suite guests receive 1 bottle of Madeira wine, water during their stay, and 1 Madeira honey cake (S2).

BB/HB/HB+

Rich buffet in the morning. Evening meal à-la-carte in the restaurant (as a set menu, drinks are not included). HB+ is bookable for an additional charge and includes 2 glasses of wine or beer, water, and coffee per person/dinner.
