Location

The adults-only hotel (minimum age 18) Allegro Madeira, part of the Barceló hotel chain, is located just a few meters from the narrow pebble beach 'Praia do Gorgulho' and the Lido with its promenade, various restaurants, bars, and shops. You can reach the city center of Funchal in approx. 30 minutes on foot via a path along the main road or by regular public bus (there is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity of the hotel). Madeira Airport (Funchal) is approx. 21 km away.

This modern and stylish 4-star hotel belonging to the Barceló Hotel Group features a total of 124 designer-style rooms. Facilities include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, the 'Lido' restaurant (varied cuisine with regional and international dishes), the '360° Rooftop' bar (bar on the roof terrace with exceptional panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean), a 'Lounge' bar, and an outdoor area with a sun terrace and a swimming pool. The double rooms are approx. 20 m² in size, located on the lower floors (1st-4th floor) and feature a fully equipped bathroom with a shower, toilet, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries, a queen-size bed or two single beds (twin), desk, chair, air conditioning/heating, safe (included), telephone, cable TV, minibar (for a fee), kettle, wake-up service (upon request), Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished balcony facing the land (D). Can also be booked as a double room for single use (DE). Also available as a double room with side sea view (DMS) or a double room with sea view (DM) for an additional charge.

Junior suite

The junior suites are equipped like the double rooms but are slightly larger (approx. 38 m²), located on the 2nd-3rd floor facing the land. They also feature a seating area and a sofa (JS2). Junior suite with sea view available for an additional charge (J2M).

The panorama junior suites with sea view offer the same amenities as the junior suite with sea view, but are located on the upper floors (7th-11th floor) with panoramic sea views and offer additional amenities such as a bathrobe, slippers, free access to the sauna (in the Wellness & Spa area), small welcome gifts (in the room), and a coffee machine (JPM).
