Location

The Apartamentos Funchal by Petit Hotels are located in the heart of Funchal on Madeira, less than 200 m from Sé Cathedral and approx. 5 minutes' walk from Mercado dos Lavradores (market), the old town and the marina. In the nearby old town, you will find a wide selection of restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment options. Regional delicacies include Espetada Madeirense (meat skewers), Bolo do Caco (regional variation of classic garlic bread) and the traditional Poncha drink. Funchal Marina and the Museum of Modern Art are 600 m away. The Cristiano Ronaldo Museum is approx. 2 km from the property. It is only about a 5-minute walk to local supermarkets. Public parking is also available next to the hotel. The Botanical Garden is 3 km from the property. The nearest beach is in Machico (approx. 25 minutes' drive away). The 17th-century São Tiago Fortress, the Electricity Museum, the "Lavradores" farmers' market, the cable car, various bus stops, and a public car park are also just a 2-minute walk from the property. The La Vie shopping center, about a 15-minute walk away, offers several shops. Funchal International Airport is about 13 km away.
