The Adults Only PortoBay Santa Maria hotel is located in the historic city center of Funchal, near the "Rua de Santa Maria" and the impressive "Forte Sao Tiago" fortress. It is approximately 15 km to Funchal airport.

The 4-star hotel has 146 rooms as well as a reception, library, a reading room, a terrace with a fantastic view over the harbor of Funchal, an "Arsenal" buffet/à la carte restaurant, two bars and direct access to the promenade. The rooftop terrace with whirlpool invites you to relax. In the outdoor area there is a freshwater pool (sun loungers, pads and parasols at the pool included).

The studios (approx. 24 m²) consist of a combined living/bedroom, bath/WC, hairdryer, vanity mirror, bathrobe, safe (incl.), smart TV, telephone, kitchenette, air conditioning and balcony (S12). Can be booked for single occupancy at an extra charge (S11).
Additionally bookable as Studio Type O with a limited contingent at a special price (STO).

Equipped like the studios, additionally with side sea view (M2S/M1S for single occupancy).

Junior Suite

Equipped like the studios, the junior suites are significantly larger at 40 m² and have a separate bedroom that is separated by a sliding door (JS2).
