Location

The Monumental Plaza by Petit Hotels apartments are located in the main tourist area of Funchal on Madeira, directly next to Lido Shopping and only 100m from the Lido swimming pools and the beach. They are approx. 500m from the Forum Madeira shopping center and approx. 2km from the city/town center of Funchal. The Parque Ecológico do Funchal is about 7km away. Madeira International Airport is approximately 14.2km away.

Facilities

This small apartment hotel belongs to the Petit Hotel chain on Madeira and has a total of 14 spacious units (2 studios and 12 apartments) and a reception (not open 24/7). All floors are accessible by elevator.

Studio Deluxe

The Deluxe Studios feature a bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, a combined bedroom/living room with 2 single beds (twin), flat-screen TV with cable channels, sofa, seating area with dining table, table and chairs, wardrobe, parquet flooring, fully equipped kitchenette (with microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, tea and coffee facilities, and crockery), iron, ironing board, and furnished terrace (DX2). Also bookable as a Deluxe Studio for single occupancy (DX1). From Winter 25/26, the room designation will be Studio; the amenities remain unchanged (S12/S11).

Apartment (1 Bedroom) Deluxe

The Deluxe Apartments offer the same amenities as the Deluxe Studios, but with a separate bedroom and a furnished terrace or furnished balcony (D2A). Also bookable as a Deluxe Apartment (1 Bedroom) for single occupancy (EDA). From Winter 25/26, the room designation will be Apartment; the amenities remain unchanged (A12/A11). Also available as a Deluxe Apartment with sea view (L2A or L1A).
(Additionally bookable under FNCA73 without sea view (D2A) and with sea view (L2A).

Apartment (1 Bedroom) Deluxe Superior Sea View

Same amenities as the Apartment (1 Bedroom) Deluxe, but located on the upper floors with sea view (M2U). Also bookable as a Deluxe Superior Apartment with sea view for single occupancy (M1U).

Breakfast is served at Vila Baleira Funchal, located approx. 60m away. From January 25, breakfast will be at Vila Baleira Funcha.
