Location

The family-run Hotel City is located in the center of the Valais Alps, at the gateway to Zermatt. The center and the train station are easily accessible in the immediate vicinity (approx. 50m). The mountain world around the Matterhorn can be reached comfortably by shuttle train. In the vicinity of the hotel, there is also a ski area and a mountain railway (approx. 6 km) as well as a golf course (approx. 2 km).

Facilities

The hotel is a pure non-smoking hotel and welcomes guests in its inviting lobby. There are 41 stylishly and comfortably furnished rooms available for your stay. The hotel caters to your culinary needs in the breakfast room, restaurant, and bar. The hotel's own wellness area, including a relaxation oasis, offers pleasant relaxation.

Double Room

The 17 m² room consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hairdryer. A heater, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi (free of charge), kettle, and a north-facing balcony with a side mountain view are also available (D).

Single Room

With otherwise similar amenities, but without a balcony, the 17m² room is slightly smaller and faces north (E).

Double Room Type C

Similar to the double room, but slightly larger (approx. 22m²) and the bathroom has a bathtub. The balcony offers mountain and valley views (DC).

Double Room Type A

With otherwise similar amenities and the same size as the double rooms type C (approx. 22m²), the room has a double bed and an extra bed. The balcony is on the south or west side (DA).

Double Room Superior (Winter)

Similarly equipped as the double rooms, these are slightly more spacious at approx. 22 m² and have a balcony with mountain view, valley view, south side or west side (DSU).

Double Room Premium (Winter)

Also similar to the double rooms, these offer more space at approx. 28 m² and have a balcony with mountain view, valley view, north side, east side or south side (PDZ).

Double Room Type B

This room is located in the new building and at 28 m² is slightly more spacious than the other rooms. With otherwise similar amenities to the Double Room Type A, it also features a living area with a desk and seating area. The balcony faces the north, east or south side (DB).
