Location

One of Mallorca's most beautiful beaches is the popular bathing bay of Cala Mesquidia. The picturesque bay, approximately 300 m wide and protected by nature conservation laws, is characterized by its high dunes and merges directly into a pine forest. The Zafiro Cala Mesquida hotel is situated directly above this dreamlike bathing bay. You can reach the magnificent, fine sandy beach in just 400 m. The nearest larger town, Capdepera, is approx. 5 km away. Cala Ratjada with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants is approx. 7 km away. A supermarket and a public bus stop are located near the complex.

The 339 studios and apartments of the 4-star hotel are built in Mallorcan style and spread around the extensive green area. The family-friendly hotel complex offers a lobby with reception and seating areas, a courtesy room, and a luggage room, as well as a lift in each building. The two buffet restaurants, "Caprice" and "Marco Polo" (only in high season), are characterized by their culinary diversity, as is the restaurant "La Palapa," where you can enjoy à la carte dining in the evening and then round off the night (included with All Inclusive and for stays of 7 nights minimum). Surrounded by the apartment buildings is the large pool landscape (7 pools), including an integrated children's pool with a pirate ship, several sun terraces with loungers and umbrellas, as well as the "Babalú" cafeteria, where you can enjoy snacks, and a pool with Bali beds, and the "Las Dunas" pool bar.

One Bedroom Suite

With the same amenities as the studios, these also feature a separate bedroom (room size approx. 43 m²). Room code: OB2. Also bookable with partial sea view (2SS) and pool view (ZOP). Additionally bookable under PMIA91 room code S2.

Swim up Suite

With the same amenities as the One Bedroom Suite, these feature a small garden with direct pool access. Room code: 2SU. Rooms with direct pool access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

With the same amenities as the One Bedroom Suite, these also feature a spacious roof terrace with a whirlpool, loungers, and pool view. Room code: PHS. Also bookable at an extra charge as a One Bedroom Penthouse Suite with partial sea view (OBV).

One Bedroom Park Suite

Friendly, bright, and equipped with a living/sleeping area, separate bedroom, rain shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, and a balcony. (SOP) Also bookable at an extra charge with pool view and kitchenette (BPP). Located in the former Zafiro Park Cala Mesquida. (Additionally bookable under PMIA91 as Park Suite Room (PA2).) Rich breakfast and dinner buffet with cold and warm dishes, and show cooking. Appropriate attire is requested. Local beverages are included with dinner.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive Plus

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets with show cooking at the Caprice buffet restaurant. Drinks (water, soft drinks, and local beer) are self-service during lunch and dinner. Twice weekly thematic dinners combined with 5 weekly specialties at the Caprice restaurant. National alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as cocktails and mixed drinks, served from approx. 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM. Ice cream specialties, fruit, cakes, and sandwiches available from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM. A selection of cold and warm à la carte dishes (Bistro Menu) is available at the "Babalú" cafeteria from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM (depending on weather). Children's menus are available in the buffet restaurant and on the bistro menu.

Additional Information

A tourism tax, similar to a tourist tax, is payable locally by the guest.
Depending on the hotel category, it is €2.20-€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the fee is reduced by 50%.
During the low season (1.11.-30.4.), the fee is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not permitted. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the booking applicant is obliged to inquire about any additional applicable conditions from Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before finalizing the booking.
