Location

. Pick-up/drop-off: exclusively at the airport
. Opening hours: Car rental pick-up is possible between 11 PM and 6 AM, however, a "night surcharge" of €40 is charged on site. This also applies if the pick-up within this time frame is due to events beyond the customer's control. The Record Go counter is located in the arrivals hall (after leaving the hall with the baggage belts).
The return of the rental car is guaranteed at any time (even at night). (Key return in a mailbox in the parking garage). Further information will be provided on site.

Insurance:
Liability insurance:
Coverage up to €50 million.
Comprehensive insurance without deductible:
Underbody, tire, glass, clutch, and engine damage are not insured.
Damage insurance:
Insurance for underbody, tire, glass, and clutch damage can be purchased on site.
Insurance notes:
• The basis for insurance coverage are the local legal regulations and contract conditions.
• Traffic fines, towing costs, and fuel are the responsibility of the renter.
• Accidents, thefts, and damage caused by vandalism must be reported immediately to the police and the rental company.
• Damage due to incorrect refueling, lost/damaged keys/remote controls are not insured and cannot be insured.
• Insurance coverage is void if damage or theft is caused by gross negligence.

Note

Driver:
Minimum age 19 years and minimum 1 year of holding a driver's license. Drivers aged 19-20 pay a surcharge of currently €9/day (max. €108) on site, drivers aged 21-24 pay a surcharge of €7/day (max. €84) on site.
Additional driver: €7.95 per day, max. €95.40
Fuel policy: Pick-up with a full tank, return with a full tank.
A valid credit card is absolutely required for rental car pick-up. Only VISA or MASTERCARD are accepted. Debit cards, EC cards, or cash are not accepted. Upon pick-up of the rental car, the credit card will be charged a security deposit equal to the value of a full tank, which will be automatically refunded upon proper return of the car.

• Rental prices are based on a 24-hour period from the start of the rental.
• Drivers must have a valid driving license.
• When booking a rental car, all flight time information must be entered. Changes to flight times for arrival and departure must be reported immediately.
• Prices for additional services bookable on site or taxes to be paid on site may change without us being informed.
• Price changes cannot be excluded.

Additional Note

A tourism tax, comparable to a tourist tax, is to be paid by the guest on site.
Depending on the hotel category, it is €2.20-€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (1.11.-30.4.), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the travel applicant is obliged to inquire about any additional applicable conditions via schauinsland-reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
