Embarkation in the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda departs from the port of Palma around 6 PM.
Day 1: SEA DAY - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy will take you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the diversity of this unique city and visit sights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, or the Spanish Steps.
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal introduction to Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, bears the name "Gulf of Poets". When you visit the city with its park areas by the harbor or Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name suits this spot on earth.
DAY 4: SAVONA - Even from a distance, the small port town of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Tower of Leon Pancaldo. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. Trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
Day 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port harbor, you can watch fishermen and feel a fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A stroll along the bustling promenade Las Ramblas is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street performers, musicians, and acrobats transform it into a true open-air theater. The Gothic Quarter will also enchant you with its magnificent squares and buildings from the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and explore the magnificent Gothic Cathedral, among other sights, or take your time for a leisurely stroll through the old town.

Accommodation

Interior Cabin

Onboard the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern and functionally furnished cabins with the highest level of comfort. They are air-conditioned and offer interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi (for a fee).
The interior cabins are approximately 13m² and can accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds).

Oceanview Cabin

Large windows (some portholes) in the oceanview cabins offer a great view and invite you to enjoy the first sun rays of the day. Oceanview cabins are approximately 20m² and can accommodate 2 to 4 guests (some with separate beds).

Balcony Cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers a private atmosphere with the best comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approximately 17m², plus the balcony.

In a total of 11 restaurants, you will be served delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Workshop), where you can prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (some with reservation and for a fee). Your dining time will be assigned by Costa. In addition, there are 19 different bars (for a fee), such as the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors (for a fee) that complete the culinary offerings.

Sports Included

The well-equipped fitness center with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to be active. Outdoors, there is a multipurpose sports court and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a Fee

You have the option to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobics studio for a fee on board, or to arrange personal training sessions in the fitness center!

Children's Program

Young guests on board can spend exciting hours in the Squok children's club under the care of trained animators. There is fun for every age group: Mini-Club for ages 3 to 6, Maxi-Club for ages 7 to 11, Teen-Junior-Club for ages 12 to 14, and the Teen-Club for ages 15 to 17.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool, as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee).

Flex Price: You decide between an interior, oceanview, or balcony cabin; Costa will assign the cabin and deck. This may include cabins with separate beds, accessible cabins, cabins with obstructed views, or cabins with connecting doors. The dining time will also be determined by Costa.

You will receive your assigned dining time for the main restaurants with your travel documents. You can dine in the buffet restaurants without fixed dining times. Book a beverage package if desired, or choose drinks à la carte. Gratuities are already included in your travel price.
Basic Cabins: A cabin that scores with the essentials and where you can make yourself comfortable at your leisure. The cabins are located on the lower decks.
Basic Plus Cabins: If you consider vacation to be a treat, then the Basic Plus cabin is just right for you. You will enjoy a location on the upper decks or more spacious cabin sizes.

Additional Note

A tourism tax, comparable to a city tax, must be paid by the guest locally.
Depending on the hotel category, it is €2.20-€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
During the low season (1.11.-30.4.), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not legal guardians, the travel registrant is obligated to inquire about any additional applicable conditions from schauinsland-reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
