Embarkation in the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma around 6 p.m.

Day 1: DAY AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the variety of this unique city and visit sights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, or the Spanish Steps.
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal introduction to getting to know Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, bears the name "Gulf of the Poets". If you visit the city with its park facilities at the harbour or the Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name fits this corner of the earth.
DAY 4: SAVONA - Even from a distance, the small port city of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. However, detours to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
DAY 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port, you can watch fishermen and feel a fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A walk along the lively Las Ramblas boulevard is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street artists, musicians, and acrobats turn it into a true open-air theatre. The Gothic Quarter will also inspire you with its magnificent squares and buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and see, among other things, the magnificent Gothic cathedral or take time for an extended walk in the old town.

Accommodation

Inside cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you stay in modern and functionally furnished cabins with the highest level of comfort. These are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for an extra charge), Wi-Fi (for an extra charge).
The inside cabins are approx. 13m² and offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds).

Outside cabin

Large windows (some portholes) offer a great view in the ocean-view cabins and invite you to enjoy the first sunbeams of the day. Ocean-view cabins have a size of approx. 20m² and offer space for 2 to 4 guests (some with separate beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers an individual atmosphere with the best comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² plus the balcony.

In a total of 11 restaurants, you will be served delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, as well as the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Laboratory), where you prepare your dinner yourself before enjoying it (partially with reservation and for a fee). Your dining time is set by Costa. In addition, there are 19 different bars available (for a fee), for example, the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlours (for a fee) complete the culinary offer.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness centre with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to be active. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports field and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the opportunity to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobics studio for a fee, as well as to arrange personal training sessions in the fitness centre!

Children's program

Young guests on board can spend exciting hours in the Squok Children's Club under the care of trained entertainers. There is fun for every age group: Mini Club from 3 to 6 years, Maxi Club from 7 to 11 years, Teen Junior Club from 12 to 14 years, and the Teen Club from 15 to 17 years.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool, as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee).

Entertainment

The Costa Smeralda has a theatre at the bow of the ship where performances take place regularly. There is a casino (from 18 years, gaming stakes not included), a disco, and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides, as well as the Skywalk at a height of 65 m ensure plenty of fun and action. Theme nights are held regularly on deck and interactive shows invite you to join in.

Location

The spacious hotel complex, which was renovated a few years ago, is embedded in the Protur Sa Coma Resort, which consists of a total of 4 hotels. The beautiful sandy beach is reached in just a few minutes (approx. 450 m), and nothing stands in the way of unclouded bathing pleasure. The centre of Sa Coma is almost on the way, which is why the beach stay can be perfectly combined with a small shopping trip.
Sa Coma and the neighbouring town of Cala Millor are so close together that a walk from the hotel, e.g., into the lively pedestrian zone of Cala Millor, is an obvious choice. For the approx. 3 km, about 30 minutes should be planned. However, this and other places can also be reached very well by bus, because the bus stop is only approx. 100 m away. The airport is approx. 69 km away.
By the way, if you should have forgotten something or are looking for delicious Spanish souvenirs for home: a large and well-stocked supermarket is located next to the hotel complex.

The Protur Badia Park has 232 rooms spread over six floors, six lifts, a modernly designed reception in the front wing of the building, a TV room, a bar with a showroom, and a combined indoor/outdoor terrace. Outside, there are several sun terraces with palm trees, a pool bar, as well as a pool landscape with a children's splash pool, as well as sun loungers and parasols.

The beautiful family hotel offers an extensive All Inclusive program with a varied breakfast buffet from 8-10 a.m. and a continental late riser's breakfast from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. At lunch and dinner, our guests can help themselves to buffets with hot and cold dishes. Ice cream for children, show cooking, and regular theme evenings leave nothing to be desired. In the restaurant, importance is placed on appropriate clothing in the evening.
For a special culinary treat, the resorts offer a variety of themed restaurants, such as La Fontana (Italian), the Country Grill, the Goa (Indian), and the Cardamon (Asian) (themed restaurants included subject to availability and advance reservation). Various wines, beer, water, and soft drinks are included with meals (self-service). In the afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., coffee, tea, cake, pastries, or other snacks are available in the bar. Sandwiches from 11 p.m. to midnight. A wide selection of national non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (according to the All Inclusive card provided) is available at the bars from 10 a.m. to midnight. Wearing an All Inclusive wristband is mandatory.

Fitness room (from 16 years), squash, paddle, inline skating, tennis (court can be reserved on request for a fee locally), table tennis, archery and rifle shooting, climbing wall, mini-golf, bicycles, and much more. In addition, the resort has the Protur Natura Farm, which houses some regional animal species. A visit to the mini-golf paradise with 36 holes (from May 1st) is an absolute must.

Sports for a fee

Water park "La Reserva" with two large and two small water slides, as well as shallow water areas with play equipment for the very little ones (open depending on the weather from early May to presumably mid-October).

Children's program

A varied entertainment program for children is, of course, a must. The Mini Club, with an evening mini disco, is offered for children from 4-12 years.

Dear children, do you actually know what I love doing most? Going on holiday, of course! Wouldn't you like to visit me for a few days at the hotel and go on holiday with me?
