Embarkation at the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma at around 6 PM.

Day 1: AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the variety of this unique city and visit attractions such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica or the Spanish Steps.
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal introduction to getting to know Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, bears the name "Gulf of the Poets". When you visit the city with its harbour parks or the Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name fits this piece of earth.
DAY 4: SAVONA - From a distance, the small port city of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. But trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
DAY 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port harbour, you can watch fishermen and feel a fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A walk along the lively Las Ramblas promenade is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street artists, musicians, and acrobats transform it into a true open-air theatre. The Gothic Quarter will also inspire you with its magnificent squares and buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and see, among other things, the magnificent Gothic cathedral or take the time for an extensive walk in the old town.

Accommodation

Inside cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern and functionally furnished cabins with maximum comfort. These are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for an extra charge), Wi-Fi (for an extra charge).
The inside cabins are approx. 13m² and offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with twin beds).

Outside cabin

Large windows (some portholes) offer a great view in the sea-view cabins and invite you to enjoy the first rays of sun in the morning. Sea-view cabins are approx. 20m² and offer space for 2 to 4 guests (some with twin beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers an individual atmosphere with the best comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² plus balcony.

Full board

In a total of 11 restaurants, you are served delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki Restaurant, the Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, as well as the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Laboratory), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (partly with reservation and for a fee). Your dining time is set by Costa. In addition, 19 different bars (for a fee) are available to you, for example, the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlours (for a fee) round off the culinary offer.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness centre with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to be active. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports field and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the option to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobic studio for a fee, as well as to arrange personal training sessions in the fitness centre!

Children's program

Small guests on board can spend exciting hours in the Squok Children's Club under the care of trained entertainers. Here there is fun for every age group: Mini Club from 3 to 6 years, Maxi Club from 7 to 11 years, Teen Junior Club from 12 to 14 years, and the Teen Club from 15 to 17 years.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool, as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee).

Wellness

Entertainment

The Costa Smeralda features a theatre in the bow of the ship, where performances take place regularly. There is a casino (from 18 years, stakes not included), a discotheque, and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides, as well as the Skywalk at a height of 65 m, provide plenty of fun and action. Themed nights are regularly held on deck, and interactive shows invite you to participate.

Location

Renovated a few years ago, the spacious hotel complex is embedded in the Protur Sa Coma Resort, which consists of a total of 4 hotels. The beautiful sandy beach can be reached in just a few minutes (approx. 450 m), and nothing stands in the way of unclouded bathing fun. The centre of Sa Coma is almost on the way, which is why the beach stay can be combined perfectly with a small shopping spree.
Sa Coma and the neighbouring town of Cala Millor are so close to each other that a walk from the hotel to the lively pedestrian zone of Cala Millor is ideal. For the approx. 3 km, about 30 minutes should be planned. But this and other places can also be reached very well by bus, as the bus stop is only approx. 100 m away. The airport is approx. 69 km away.
By the way, if you have forgotten something or are looking for delicious Spanish souvenirs for home: a large and well-stocked supermarket is located next to the hotel complex.

The Protur Badia Park has 232 rooms spread over six floors, six lifts, a modernly designed reception in the front wing, a TV room, a bar with a showroom and a combined indoor/outdoor terrace. Outside, there are several sun terraces with palm trees, a pool bar, as well as a pool landscape with a children's splash pool, as well as loungers and parasols.

The beautiful family hotel offers an extensive All Inclusive program with a diverse breakfast buffet from 8–10 am and a continental late-riser breakfast from 10 am–12 pm. At lunch and dinner, our guests help themselves from buffets with warm and cold dishes. Ice cream for children, show cooking, and regular themed evenings leave nothing to be desired. In the restaurant, appropriate clothing is expected in the evening.
For a special culinary treat, the resorts offer a variety of themed restaurants, such as La Fontana (Italian), the Country Grill, the Goa (Indian), and the Cardamon (Asian) (themed restaurants included upon availability with advance reservation). Various wines, beer, water, and soft drinks are included with meals (self-service). In the afternoon from 3:30 pm–5:30 pm, coffee, tea, cakes, pastries, or other snacks are available in the bar. Sandwiches from 11 pm–12 am. A wide selection of national non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (according to the available All Inclusive card) is available at the bars from 10 am–12 am. Wearing an All Inclusive bracelet is mandatory.

Fitness room (from 16 years old), squash, paddle, inline skating, tennis (court can be reserved for desired times on site for a fee), table tennis, archery and rifle shooting, climbing wall, mini-golf, bicycles, and much more. In addition, the resort features the Protur Natura Farm, which is home to some regional animal species. A visit to the mini-golf paradise with 36 holes (from 1.5.) is an absolute must.

Sports for a fee

Water park "La Reserva" with two large and two small water slides, as well as shallow water areas with play equipment for the very little ones (open from the beginning of May until presumably mid-October, depending on weather conditions).

Children's program

A varied entertainment program for children naturally should not be missing. The Mini Club, with a nightly mini-disco, is offered for children from 4–12 years old.
