Embarkation at the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma at approx. 6 PM.

Day 1: DAY AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the diversity of this unique city and visit sights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, or the Spanish Steps.
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal introduction to getting to know Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, bears the name „Gulf of Poets“. When you visit the city with its harbor parks or the Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name suits this patch of earth.
DAY 4: SAVONA - From afar, the small port city of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. But side trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
DAY 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port harbor, you can watch fishermen and feel the fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A stroll along the lively Las Ramblas boulevard is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street performers, musicians, and acrobats turn it into a true open-air theater. The Gothic Quarter will also inspire you with its magnificent squares and buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and see, among other things, the magnificent Gothic cathedral, or take the time for an extensive walk in the old town.

Accommodation

Interior cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern, functional cabins with the highest level of comfort. They are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for an extra charge), and Wi-Fi (for an extra charge).
The interior cabins are approx. 13m² and offer space for 2 to 4 people. (partly with twin beds).

Exterior cabin

Large windows (partly portholes) offer a great view in the ocean-view cabins and invite you to enjoy the first rays of the sun of the day. Ocean-view cabins are approx. 20m² and offer space for 2 to 4 guests (partly with twin beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with its direct view of the water and offers an individual atmosphere with maximum comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m², plus the balcony.

Full board

A total of 11 restaurants serve delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, the family restaurant “Tutti a Tavola,” and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Lab), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (partly with reservation and for an extra charge). Your dining time is set by Costa. In addition, there are 19 different bars available (for an extra charge), such as the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors (for an extra charge) to round off the culinary offering.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness center with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to be physically active. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports field and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the option of booking yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis courses in the aerobics studio for an extra charge on board, as well as arranging personal training sessions in the fitness center!

Children's program

Young guests on board can spend exciting hours at the Squok Children's Club under the care of trained entertainers. There is fun for every age group here: Mini Club from 3 to 6 years, Maxi Club from 7 to 11 years, Teen Junior Club from 12 to 14 years, and the Teen Club from 15 to 17 years.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for an extra charge).

Wellness

Entertainment

The Costa Smeralda features a theater in the bow of the ship, where performances take place regularly. There is a casino (from age 18, bets not included), a discotheque, and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides, and the Skywalk at a height of 65 m ensure plenty of fun and action. Theme nights are regularly held on deck, and interactive shows invite you to join in.

Flex Price: You choose between an interior, exterior, or balcony cabin; the allocation of the cabin and the deck is handled by Costa. These may be cabins with twin beds, accessible cabins, cabins with limited views, or cabins with connecting doors. The dining time is also determined by Costa.

Location

The spacious hotel complex, renovated a few years ago, is embedded in the Protur Sa Coma Resort, which consists of a total of 4 hotels. The beautiful sandy beach can be reached in just a few minutes on foot (approx. 450 m), and nothing stands in the way of undisturbed bathing fun. The center of Sa Coma is almost on the way, which is why a beach stay can be perfectly combined with a little shopping trip.
Sa Coma and the neighboring town of Cala Millor are so close together that a walk from the hotel to the lively pedestrian zone of Cala Millor is ideal. You should allow about 30 minutes for the approx. 3 km. But this and other places are also very easy to reach by bus, as the bus stop is only about 100 m away. The airport is approx. 69 km away.
By the way, if you have forgotten something or are looking for delicious Spanish souvenirs for at home: a large and well-stocked supermarket is located next to the hotel complex.

The Protur Badia Park has 232 rooms spread over six floors, six elevators, a modernly designed reception in the front building wing, a TV room, a bar with a showroom, and a combined indoor/outdoor terrace. Outside, there are several sun terraces with palm trees, a pool bar, and a pool landscape with a children's splash pool, as well as loungers and parasols.

With the same equipment as the studios, these offer a separate bedroom and a living room with 2 sofa beds (room size approx. 41 m², room code: A12).

The beautiful family hotel offers an extensive All Inclusive program with a varied breakfast buffet from 8–10 AM and a continental late-riser breakfast from 10 AM–12 PM. For lunch and dinner, our guests can help themselves at buffets with hot and cold dishes. Ice cream for children, show cooking, and regular theme nights leave nothing to be desired. Appropriate clothing is requested in the restaurant in the evening.
For a special culinary treat, the resorts offer a variety of theme restaurants, such as La Fontana (Italian), the Country Grill, the Goa (Indian), and the Cardamon (Asian) (theme restaurants included based on availability and by prior reservation). Various wines, beer, water, and soft drinks are included with meals (self-service). In the afternoon from 3:30–5:30 PM, coffee, tea, cake, pastries, or other snacks are available at the bar. Sandwiches from 11 PM–12 AM. A diverse selection of national non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (according to the All Inclusive menu provided) is available at the bars from 10 AM–12 AM. Wearing an All Inclusive wristband is mandatory.

Fitness room (from age 16), squash, paddle, inline skating, tennis (court can be reserved on-site for desired times for a fee), table tennis, archery and rifle shooting, climbing wall, minigolf, bicycles, and much more. In addition, the resort has the Protur Natura Farm, which is home to several regional animal species. A visit to the 36-hole minigolf paradise (from May 1st) is an absolute must.

Sports for a fee

Water park "La Reserva" with two large and two small water slides, as well as shallow water areas with play equipment for the very little ones (open from the beginning of May until mid-October, depending on weather conditions).

Children's program

A varied entertainment program for children is, of course, a must. The Mini Club, with a nightly mini-disco, is offered for children from 4–12 years.
“Katta goes on holiday”
Dear children, do you actually know what I like doing best? Holiday, of course! Wouldn't you like to visit me for a few days at the hotel and go on holiday with me? We can play, do crafts, solve puzzles, and read stories together. In the evening, we rock the mini-disco. I will give every child a personal travel diary. Well, how does that sound?
