The hotel, a favorite among repeat guests and families, is part of the Iberostar chain and features 405 rooms spread across 2 buildings, each with 5 floors. It offers a spacious lobby with a 24-hour reception, elevators, a bar with a small stage, a "Star Café" (open 24 hours), and a buffet restaurant. The attractive garden area includes a swimming pool (closed in winter) with a sun terrace, lounges, and sunshades, as well as a pool/snackbar (open during summer months).

These spacious and modernly equipped rooms offer a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, a safe (for a fee), minibar (on request and for a fee), TV, telephone, and a balcony (room size: 25 sqm, room code: D, DA). For an additional charge, they are also available with garden or pool view (2GD, DGI, PD, APD) and for single occupancy (DE, 1GD, DGE, PDE, APE).

All other alcoholic beverages – including those served between meals – must be paid for separately. Smart casual attire is requested during meals (closed shoes and no sleeveless shirts for men).

Destination information

A tourism tax, similar to a city tax, must be paid by the guest on site.
Depending on the hotel category, it is €2.20-€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay at the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
During the low season (1.11.-30.4.), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the booking registrant is obliged to inquire about any additional applicable conditions from schauinsland-reisen or the travel agency before finalizing the booking.
