Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable ambiance for restful days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-per-view at an extra charge), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (at an extra charge), and Wi-Fi (at an extra charge).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some have separate beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and a high level of living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or sometimes portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the sea-view cabins accommodate 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, and minibar and Wi-Fi at an extra charge. The thoughtful design and generous sense of space make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, and minibar and Wi-Fi at an extra charge. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants ensure culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the “Pummid’Oro” pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the “Tutti a Tavola” family restaurant, and the “Laboratorio del Gusto,” where selected dishes can be prepared by oneself (partly at an extra charge and with reservation). Mealtimes in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (at an extra charge), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. The Costa Smeralda thus offers diverse moments of indulgence for every taste.

In addition to the full board services, the MyItalian indulgence package can be booked. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. This includes cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The beverage package ensures varied moments of indulgence and underscores the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and weight machines allow for sporting activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports field and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous opportunities for movement and sporting balance in the open air. This allows activity, relaxation, and the holiday experience to be optimally combined on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sporting activities, various courses such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (at an extra charge). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (at an extra charge). This allows personal fitness programs to be flexibly designed even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Kids Club. While the youngest guests can romp around in the Mini-Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi-Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. This provides young guests with the best conditions for making new friends and spending varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (at an extra charge), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a nightclub, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over ensure varied entertainment. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua-Park with several water slides and water attractions, as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of around 65 meters, which allows for impressive views of the sea.
